I own PUBG and I've played maybe 5 rounds. I'm still getting into it, and enjoyed what I've played for the most part.
Now my HDD has 221 games ready to play on it. I have yet to really get into PUBG because I have literally TONS of other games to play.
I'm sure there are plenty of others like me, who are in similar situations with a large backlog of games.

The fact that sales for xbox already spiked a fair bit higher since Xb1x came out must mean nothing to you.
That is the market.
They are there, they spent the money, and they want the extras they paid for.
This article more or less confirms the value of the system to the devs, and a move like this will further improve the value to new buyers.
