When ya really think about it, if you trade a game it's like, "Meh oh well, I have other games I could still play etc..." but when you are trading in the entire console or device, you could be potentially losing the entire option to play. And instead, giving a new owner the option...
I'd actually argue that the Xbox One is MORE focused on achievments.
Games have trackers, rare achievements, global percentages, competitive leaderboards for gamerscore, and integration with tru achievements.
It's more about gamerscore than ever before.
