The difference between computers and consoles is that computers are something you ACTUALLY need.
Why spend 600 dollars on a computer for word processing and email and then spend 500 dollars on another machine just to play games and media?
You guys are so reactionary and defensive that you couldn't even figure out how to respond without looking like idiots.
Spend 1600 dollars on a good PC, play all games on max settings, watch netflix or H...
Consoles are basically DRMs themselves. The difference is you pay hundreds of dollars for consoles, they break down, they take up physical space, and they don't play games at desired settings.
Origin sucks as a service, but it's better to suffer through a shitty service for one game once in a while than it is to suffer through a DRM machine for many.
I wonder if "The Killer" or "The Real Killer" will respond to this.
I remember not long ago he argued that Microsoft was immoral for using Japanese models to sell games, and that Sony would never do such a thing.
"You also need a 120 hertz tv or else you'll only be receiving 60 fps at max."
If that's the case then the Super Nintendo can also run games at 120fps.
"what kind of fan are you for thinking it was bad"
"Oh my God. He has a mind of his own. Get him!!!"
"As a gaming machine, psp was a complete and utter failure. This is pretty much an undeniable fact."
Did they eliminate the education budget where you live?
"not compare it to kinect as its irrelevant as the ps-eye already did it."
Wow. The amount of mental gymnastics it took to rationalize this.
7000 dollars worth of anything in New Jersey is a rarity.
Okay. You bought a console to play games, right? It's not like you buy games to support your console. Unless it's a brand loyalty issue.
For PC the load times are unbelievably fast with SSDs. I spent the last two years on a netbook so for me load times were very slow. But recently I got a high end PC with an SSD and I press the the power button and in 6 seconds my computer is on and ready with all start up programs like Trillian already on. Only drawback is that it's so fast my internet doesn't have time to power on before all my internet related programs do.
Sorry, but the person who wrote the title cannot spell.
"all flops and in a platform which is hated in his homeland!"
The Last Story is on the Nintendo Wii.
Okay. One or two games in 1080p mean nothing.
Your TV can't smooth out the frame rate issue. It will cause tearing actually.
PCs have unlimited VRAM?
My 570 has 1.2 gigs of RAM, I think. Could have gotten the 2.5 gig one but I didn't feel like it.
Anyway, why do you expect Bioware to go back and add high-res textures to the PC version?
If they do something like that, it will be a post-release patch.
I applaud your ability to come up with funny usernames for your many accounts. Joined 2 days ago or rejoined 2 days ago?
"Horrible or no dx11 support at release which hurts PC sales and infuriates the PC gamer who were supporting their product on release."
Rawr, I'm so angry.
"The same argument can also be flung towards CoD.."
Can be? It has been for years.
Ronald Reagan was not the Keanu Reeves of his time.
He was a corporate spokesman for most of his adult like for various companies and thus his ability to be a stooge translated well into being a puppet president.
Keanu Reeves is a decent human being who donates a ton money and gives film crew members bonuses and basically stays out of the limelight so he can focus on helping his sister recover from cancer.
The publisher isn't going to deliberately undervalue its game.
I wouldn't pay 30 bucks for a mediocre game, or 10 for a bad game. I'd rather pay 50 bucks for a great game than say, "Oh, this game's kind of crap, but they've priced it competitively so I'll pretend to have a good time while I suffer through this."
The publisher doesn't want the audience to second guess why they're selling the game at a discount price f...
