That's bullshit. Many people like myself pre-ordered BF:BC2 because of the promise of NEW MAPS as DLC for free, not an altered version of the maps we already had.
I would have NEVER bought the game for $60 bucks had I known that's the crap they were going to pull and it's that very reason I won't be giving them anymore of my cash.
I would have GLADLY paid for NEW maps, just don't mislead me...

Another thing that other's are not realising is that more and more games that used to be SP only are now adding an online mp JUST to be able to charge you for it.

Point of fact, if you like everything extra live does that's cool, but even the foolish would agree online play should be free.
Does it have to be broken down for simple minds? buy ANY multiplatform game with online MP/CO-OP for system A and the same game for system B.

First, there were tanks in WaW.
Second, what makes you think the majority of FPS gamers WANT vehicles in their MP FPS's? I hated the maps in WaW that had tanks and dislike the BF series for the very same reason, though I love the rush and conquest modes.
Not to insult those that like them, but come on, it's a SHOOTER for crying out loud. How hard is it for you guys to aim a gun and get a kill or defend the base? Get out ...

I was gonna say the same thing. I keep seeing the term QUALITY thrown around like the WORLD is agreed on the same thing.

Gotta disagree with you on that one. All signs point to this being MS's last gen in the console market. Here's why I think so:
MS is making a killing with Live and with them using kinect as a relaunch at the usual 5/6 year mark they can easily ride out 3 or 4 more years, maybe more.
They have the Halo IP/fanbase that will stick with them as seen by halo fans playing to the very end on xbox.
They have the pocketbook to keep Epic ...

What's your psn id? I'd loved to see that 90% because I've played quite a few myself. I didn't "assume" anything. I quite clearly stated that you could have played on a ps3, but for you make the statement of "jumping ship" clearly implies that you do not own a ps3, and rarely play on a ps3.

Besides, I got both map packs for mw2 for $15, so your point there is mute. That was 6 new maps and 4 "altered" maps for $15 bucks. Hell of a deal if you ask me.
