I can't believe devs and pubs get away with blatant robbery. They take all the things that used to be unlockables for beating the game or doing something special in game, replaced that content with WORTHLESS trophies/acheivements and we the consumer sing their praise and remain faithful buyers.

I passed on R3 for a couple of reasons,
First and foremost they killed off Hale from the previous 2 games breaking any connection I felt for the franchise to continue the story. Hale was a badass halfbreed. I have little interest playing as joe blow fghting to save his family.
Secondly I bought Gears3 off amazon with a $20 credit bonus, R3 had no such promotion which killed any chance I'd spend $60 on a game I'd only be playing because of the Chi...
While the term is subjective, it's definition is not. MP is not the only way or the best way(IMH)to make a game "worth keeping".
Maybe these devs could try supporting their games for more than a few months after release?

For me, ME2 is a nice example that worked well. While the material may or may not have been cut from the original game, it's DLC made the game worth keeping.

I don't understand this complaint/worry. It's been a while since I last played ME/ME2, but I can't think of one mission where you didn't have your AI squad with you. Not one.
How will adding a human component instead of AI be any different? One person is shepard and everyone else would take the place of the AI, which in my opinion adds to the game verses taking anything away.
