This article has completely turned me off to gaming. Because of a poor business model and greed consumers are to pick up the slack made by devs and pubs?
I don't care how much something cost to make if it's complete garbage, unplayable or just plain lame.
Why not beat gamestop and companies of the like at their own game? Open up brick and mortars or online shops where gamers can buy, trade, sell new and used games where the profit goes right back in-h...
so why don't you get off your lazy ass and build a high-end pc to game on? problem solved.
all you care about is going goo goo eyed over sum damn gfx and power and you blame them because your too stupid or lazy to do it yourself? go figure
I agree, I passed on every game with a pass this year and I buy new, most times day one. Batman:AC was the last game I bought only because it was pre-ordered and learned it had a past after the fact.
These people have no foresight whatsoever. They will have only themselves to blame when pubs start to cut even more content out of games and abuse the dlc system even more.
Games today are released unfinished requiring multiple patches just to work correctly and ...
u sound like a real d-bag
I couldn't agree more with the article. Only thing that was left out was those who buy new and don't have access to the internet and are short changed of a full product.
I really can't believe that ANYONE would support such a practice let alone defend it. The even sadder part is that it's YOU the consumer that is being hurt by it, yet you still defend?
I could go on and on about the number of games that I've bought used because I was unsur...
Stopped reading after no co-op, but it will have online? Another sp game locking out sp content behind an online pass.
Tell yourselves whatever you have to. In more than 35 years of gaming it's always the same each gen.
It all comes down to the gfx and power. Exculsive games are a secondary thought if at all.
It only sold units on the back of brotherhood and how good that one is/was.
It's funny to me that those that are ready for next gen all say the same thing, "looking for better gfx" or "looking for more power".
So why not just game on pc? Why should everyone else suffer because you want what is already available to you and you alone?
No one is stopping you guys from having more power, better gfx except yourselves.
Nope, you just want something shiny and new that few have for bragging rights. S...
EXACTLY! Give me a 7 day return window to trade in or get my hard earned $60 back and you can include all the online passes you want.
Nothing more infuriating than falling for the hype, TRYING to do as much research on said game before buying and still ending up with a turd and being stuck with it.
people are fools for falling for this crap as it only hurts us, the gamer/consumer.
@mars290
Right, because a game that focus's more on combat gameplay rather than mundane xp grinding CAN'T be an rpg right?
I love the series, and 1 is my fav so far, but it had HORRIBLE combat and they knew it. Did they strip too much rpg elements on the 2nd? YES
Hopefully 3 will have those elements restored ALONG with great combat gameplay, as that is the ONLY difference between 1 and 2.
I'll never understand those that...
which is why no one gives a damn about pc gaming other than pc gamers.
Why the hell are you going on about KZ in an article about Resistance?
GG killed their own game, not the fans.
yea, because we all know if a game has a good combat system it's not a "true" rpg. You people kill me, stuck playing in a world for 100's of hours and horrible combat.
Why would you play AFTER you already completed the story? The whole purpose is to have these places secured BEFORE you start your SP campaign I would think.
To go thru the sp and then jump in the online would add nothing to your sp which this is intended to do. You ready up these locales and have them ready when your story arc brings you there, pretty simple.
thanks EA, I'll be passing this up as well, shame too, I like the devs behind the game.
i could be wrong, but i believe ms is gettin the same great third party games that sony will get, saving on in-house costs and reaping in full profits, it's wroked this long for them, why stop now
didn't read the article but is it a forced feature? i would think u could play the game without using it, making it an option. how is making ur game more accessible with an option?
u people are weird
i was thinkin the same thing, there's a reason why those playlists exist, nevermind they have a small following...
If you had a high-end pc you wouldn't be here crying. Not one person I know with one gives a damn about the current state of consoles.
Your post is nothing more than a poor attempt to mask that very fact. Just who do you think you are fooling? Yourself?
