Why does everyone think that the PS3 can handle more? If it could, it would. There is no reason to think they are 'holding back' the PS3.
Let's remember the PS3 and 360 do not have 4 GBs of RAM, nor do they have state of the art GPUs. Get over it.

A new, great AAA game in almost every genre
Wow is everyone so hostile? I do not know what is next-gen about this game.
RFG had total building destruction.
Frontline had more players.
BFBC2 probably did have the best graphics and largest maps for a multiplayer game.
I just don't know (given the information I have available to me) what is next gen about this game.
Buying it anyway. Sort of like the 'real' expansion pack of BFBC2.

I just watched all the videos linked on this page of both Crysis and Killzone 3, and I don't get why people are saying KZ3 looks so great and that Crysis 2 looks like trash.

Xbox has games that run 32+ player matches. In is not the system per se, Frostbite is just an intensive engine.
Obviously neither system is holding any of the other runs back, since they could put more players in a PS3 match if they wanted to, but they can't.
I just knew this was going to happen, read my comment history.
I don't see any reason to buy this game if there is any less than 32 player matches o consoles because the maps will just be too freakin big.

Not a knock against the game. I only have 360, but I know it won't look like that. Still glad to get it even if it is 'just' an upgrade from F3
