I agree and it seems like they've been like this for a while. Now it just seems like they're being cocky about it and not even trying anymore.
I don't see why the D-pad wasn't placed on the top and the analog on the bottom and they didn't include a second analog on the right side. I wouldn't mind a little extra bulk if it meant I could control my games better. Also, why aren't the Home, Start, and Select buttons raised?
Another issue I have is that the bottom screen runs at a lower resolution than the top.
General rule of thumb for Nintendo: If we want it, chances are it's not happening.
I'm talking about co-op being 4 players, Mr. Obvious
Why are they reviewing a beta?
I want it to leave Japan because I love the series and I own a 3DS, but Monster Hunter G on the Wii and Tri on the PSP and PS3 never left Japan. The 3DS fanbase is also not very big at the moment and the series doesn't sell nearly well enough outside of Japan.
How is it any different from the PSP version?
Too bad it'll probably never leave Japan and the 3DS is region locked :(
Nintendo has never developed a Dragon Quest game, lol. This franchise belongs to Square-Enix
It's already been confirmed that Square-Enix is working on this alone. The reason they're using the same style is because that's the 3D style fans have loved and they wouldn't want to risk changing that.
Dragon Quest IX on the DS is not an MMO. The only way to play with people is through local play. It plays exactly like IX, only difference being that it has WiFi connection on both the Wii and Wii U.
It's nice that you categorize every ...
Just do what I do and buy your games on Steam, while using the PS3 to play console only games that come out for it.
Thankfully I have a PC and can play the superior version. Can't wait!
I enjoyed it. They should make it 10-15 minutes long and release it monthly.
They better not announce a new model....I just bought a 3DS today >_>
I just bought this game (in NY). So far, the dialog is much funnier than Disgaea 3 and I love Disgaea 3.
Alright, this is going too far. Now they're just milking it.
Me too, but Persona isn't part of the SMT series. It's only labeled as such in the US as advertisement.
They are, but like somebody mentioned, FPS are not big there. Unless Activision is trying to win over the Japanese audience, which I doubt, it won't happen during TGS.
It's like they realize how much Dragon Age 2 sucked. It had a lot of potential and it offered a lot of great things, but the cons far outweighed the pros.
Agreed. I own a gaming PC and a PS3. I play all multiplatform games on the PC since it's superior to it's console counterpart, but all console exclusives on the PS3 and enjoy them just as much as I enjoy my PC games.
