I'm having a blast with it. Though I hate that it's Origin exclusive so that means I'll have to buy it from Gamestop. I refuse to buy anything through Origin, but I don't mind using it.
Once the game is good enough to pay monthly fees for. Yoshida mentioned that patches 1.18 - 1.20 are the three big patches that will take the game into a new direction. Probably sometime after 1.20 is released. People have been guessing Summer 2012.
I'm going to start playing again after this patch is released next week
I love the games Level 5 puts out, but this game is garbage.
Light Snow
It sucks, to be honest. The dialog is decent, but the story sucks, graphics are poor, gameplay gets far too repetitive quickly, side-quests are for the most part just fetch quests, the enemies and design don't seem inspired at all, and it's not too long. The only good thing I can think of is the voice acting, but even that isn't too great.
I'm a PS3 fanboy, but even I'm not that deluded, lol. Games play and look MUCH better on PC. I sold my Xbox 360 to buy a video card and never looked back.
Delusional fanboys. Microsoft is in second place, while Nintendo sits in first. Just enjoy the games and stfu.
You must be out of your mind to buy an iPad for a gaming device.
Not really, you're just not comprehending. They didn't have to release the extra characters and if they did through the marketplace or PSN, it would have been expensive.
You're missing the point. If Capcom released the content in UMVC3 via DLC, you would have spent more than $40 on all of them. Buying the entire game for $40 is fine, especially if you're trading in the old one to get it. In the end, you're saving money.
Honestly, Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 is an exception. The DLC for MvsC3 was expensive so I'd rather shell out the $40 and get the game rather than the DLC separately.
Alright, this has to be said....I love the Splinter Cell series, but to release this HD remaster with no online mode like in the original, a huge install size, no Conviction, and missing one other title makes me think twice about buying it. Once again, Ubisoft proves that they are horrible at re-releasing games.
Edit: By the way, why wasn't this released for the 360? I own a PS3, but it puzzles me how Ubisoft made Conviction for PC and 360 only, yet not release it for th...
Well yeah, I know that. However, when people say "the extra stuff on the 360 version" it makes it seem exclusive or something, which it isn't, lol.
Hmm? The 360 isn't getting any extra content. The "extra" content for the 360 is the stuff the PC got AFTER the game was officially released. It's just all going to be on one disc.
@Voxelman
Yeah, it's a pretty good looking game so it's no wonder it'll be on two discs. What I'm saying though is that the 360 isn't getting any extra content besides the stuff already on the PC version.
That's what happens when it releases simultaniously on three platforms. The Witcher 2 is an amazing game, but releasing it months later on the 360 and no PS3 release hurts sales. To be honest, I upgraded my PC and sold my 360 specifically for this game, lol. No regrets here though because I ended up getting a ton of other PC games :)
It did, but if they make all of the improvements they say they are and have the PS3 version released early next year AND start releasing more quality games, it's nothing that can't be repaired. The changes coming next week in 1.19 seem very promising and it changes the game completely in several ways:
The riddance of physical levels
Simplified crafting
Ifrit battle
Personal and rental Chocobos
Airships
More inventory space
Dammit, hurry up! I haven't beaten the game, but I'm waiting for 2.0 to come out so I can restart my file and finish the game. I haven't played it in months.
It's not a port. They went out of the way to include a single player mode and new areas.
You must not have read my post. I said I refuse to buy it through Origin, but don't mind using it.
