The only method I can see is getting an alert and starting the download in the background and having it installed in the background as well. They have to let users know they're downloading because a lot of people have a cap on their data plans.
Deep in the future when most user online speeds will be up to par with OnLive's requirement. Even if you do have a fast connection, you also need a stable connection. My 20mbps isn't enough to get beyond Youtube quality and input lag and I'm not willing to pay for more.

Nobody told them to release it in the Fall when CoD and Battlefield are so close to being released. I don't understand the logic of game publishers.

Yeah. If you have a large monitor (over 30 inches), you'll notice a difference between 1080p and higher res.
No competition here. MGS Collection includes MG, MG2, MGS2, MGS3, and MGS PW and it's all for $50. MGS 3D is just one game and will probably cost like $40.

The problem is, Home has been successful in the same way Farmville has been successful (the casual market). So no matter how great it gets, there will always be "those" people around that get a kick of poking fun of it.
I'm sure there were some people thinking it might have been getting a PS3 release.

I don't really care for it much. The only time I use 3D is during cut-scenes.
It's not a competition because they're not the same genre. That's like comparison Mario with Call of Duty or Final Fantasy with FIFA.
One of the greatest RPG games ever. I'll stick to the PC version though. Also, I wonder if the 360 will be released as 2.0 since 2.0 should be out by then on PC.
It won't. Apparently Microsoft and even Apple, I think, are forcing Adobe to have their flash content converted into HTML5.
They can't even compete with PC
As long as it gets released before or when my taxes come in, I'm happy.
Meh. The first one was a game I was incredibly hyped for...it was pretty disappointing. Gonna skip on this one.
