I wish the cover was at least as creative as the first one.

One of them better be Red Dead Redemption 2.

Is the crack legal or is it illegaly bypassing copyright? Lol. No cracks are legal.

Personally, I don't care for it. However, with the media hype, I'm a bit surprised it's not there. I'm also surprised Zelda and Skyrim are even nominated since they haven't even been released yet, lol.

@Si-Fly
Not at all. Guild Wars 2 is targeting the core audience as well. If you actually read my post, I say that DC and SW target complete opposites: casuals who dont wanna pay monthly fees and core who pay monthly fees. GW is targeting the core so I'm sure most people who start to play SW will jump ship and play the better game (GW2). Especially since it's free.

I don't think people are reading the article properly: It states that there is Origin integration on Mass Effect 3 on the Xbox 360, which means it will also be included in the PS3 version and PC gamers will be forced to open that crappy program just to play Mass Effect 3.

True, but the population sky rocketed after it went F2P. Also, most MMOs make their money via micro transaction and expansions and do better than they would have if they were charging monthly fees.

So while it's the same game, it's opened itself to a much broader audience.

Not really. Although both games are MMOs, both games are targeting entirely different audiences. DC is targeting more casual gamers and those who want an MMO but don't want to deal with monthly fees. While Star Wars is targeting the more core gamers who don't mind paying monthly fees.

To be honest, I can't see SWTOR doing well after Guild Wars 2 comes out.

This is what happens when you force players to use Origins on top of a browser and not offer a PC game through the biggest PC game distributor (steam). Digital sales aren't included, but I'm sure they would have been higher regardless if the morons at DICE didn't come up with those bright ideas, lol.

Tell that to all the fanboys praising the article.

Tell that to the people with no ego

"Could the same happen to DC Universe Online? "

The article never mentions DC Universe, lol. Anyway, it's to be expected. It's too core of a franchise to expect customers to continuously pay for it.

Regardless to how much MW sells, 5 million in a week is amazing.

5336d ago 24 agree0 disagreeView comment

This is lame. Don't get my hopes up! Why aren't any of the big sites reporting this? I hope they do put out a game similar to Smash Bros....a good one at that.

Because 3 million is more than 3.5 (possible 4) million, right?

OH HELL YES!

Lol right

I can see them showcasing a public trailer during E3. Giving us probably a mid - late 2012 release date for the PS3, 360, and possibly the Wii U.

Yeah, you might as well judge a fish on how fast it can climb a tree. A lot of critics are so blinded by comparisons that they fail to see certain games for what they were truly developed for. It's a shame.

It seems to me that IGN only writes articles to try and gain hits rather than write well written and meaningful articles.
