OH RLY?
@compositiontheory
If he's saying families making 50-60k a year should stick with a Wii and people making more can look into the Wii U, he's implying that it will be much more expensive. And like I said, look at the tech being used. Tablets are expensive in their own right and the Wii U is offering a tablet with high quality stream. I don't expect anything less than $400 and wouldn't be surprised if it sells for more.
"Reggie stated in the interview that the Nintendo Wii U is going to be far more expensive than the Nintendo Wii when it initially launched."
Not sure what world you're living in where $50 is considered "far more" expensive. It will definitely be at least $350 but I'm sure it will launch for $400
Consider the tech being used. Tablets (computer tablets for design) are expensive on their own. The Wii U is a next gen system with a tab...
*waits for SE to blame fans*
Seriously though, if the series was doing well, why chance it so much and expect people to support it? XIII took away everything that made FF and tried to modernize it into the garbage people complain about. I liked it, but there was just so much missing. XIV launched horribly, though it's a decent game now.
It seems like SE knows they tarnished the Final Fantasy name and are trying to repair it. However, they can't expec...
Didnt Microsoft also publish Ninja Gaiden 2? :P
So an auction house without being able to auction? Alright then.
Final Fantasy XIV isn't getting an auction house. This article is very misleading. It's getting the ability to buy items through the search bar rather than going into the market ward and walking to the retainer holding the item you want.
Actually, they got rid of that system months ago, lol. Now you can browse through all the items you want via category.
Nor MGS1
Yeah because if I want to buy a certain game and I absolutely need a memory card to save, I should wait till I have a gun pointed to my head before I feel the need to buy one, right? I'll be forced to buy one because I want to play said game. Also, at this day and age, it should include internal memory.
Then it would have been more expensive! though we're being forced to buy memory cards so is the price REALLY $250? Nope. Not unless you don't plan on saving your games.
Meh
I like every single one, but the ones I'm not too fond of are: VII, VIII, and XII. I enjoyed XIII despite the hate it gets on the internet and I enjoy the hell out of XIV. Funny how I enjoy those, but don't really like VII....the one entry that gets praises left and right, lol.
Alien invasions would be great! Similar to the zombie modes in Call of Duty, but aliens would be a really cool mix rather than zombies. I could imagine huge spaceships landing and hoards of aliens trying to kill us with advanced weapons (nothing we can use, but their stats are the same as the guns we DO use).
Mid-late 2013
XIII-2 comes out overseas early 2012 and SE are going to relaunch XIV late 2012 on PC and early 2013 on the PS3. This was confirmed and they will not release a highly anticipated multi-million title so close to this relaunch.
I just hope it gets a cool interface, stronger processor, all games are native to 1080p, and adds more to the gameplay experience somehow. Graphics are fine the way they are.
While it's nice, it's overkill for the games out now. By the time a game comes out that makes use of it comes out, you could get it for cheaper.
Looks like you don't know what you're talking about, lol.
They wouldn't take anywhere near as long if they were on, say, the Vita. Assuming this VII remake is on consoles.
WTF IS THIS!?!?!?!?
