You know, you don't have to buy it. There are plenty of games for you that aren't this one. Not every game has to be for you.
All i keep seeing in these reviews is "7+ out of 10, It's worth it for the price", which makes me think people now a days will eat up any slop if the price is low enough. Not commenting on the game it self as i haven't played it.
I have a backward compatible ps3 so i would have no use for a PS2. But i agree. If i still had a PS2 i wouldn't trade it in. Still too much Digital Devil Saga to play. ;)

1. You are talking about graphics power. New cellphones might be more powerful but they waste that potential with "tech demos" and free to play games. Any good actual game is a PC or console port. There are PS2 games that look better than Y's: Memories of Celceta, but it was one of the best portable games I've ever played (granted, my opinion). Certainly better than anything I've played on mobile.

1. They don't need a new portable. The Vita is already the most powerful on the market and one of the major reasons some studios aren't developing for it is that it is too expensive to develop for (for the return they expect, anyways). So making a more powerful one is counter-productive at this stage.

I think he's actually calmed down with criticism towards his own games in recent years. It seems to me that he's just calling people out of their BS and trying to level the playing field a bit more fairly.

Ambitious, maybe. Brave, definitely. Releasing a short, single player focused game in this Muliplayer soaked industry is brave indeed.

How about the Vita is allowed to have it's own AAA games like..oh i don't know..GRAVITY RUSH. Those AAA games are games from other consoles and home consoles at that. You can just play those on consoles. The Vita needs games exclusive to it, giving you a reason to buy it.
