Max Repel.
Oh really? Pokemon yellow had at rest animation, fancy attack animation and moving camera?
Oh wait, no it didn't.
This a a fair change over previous games. There isn't a whole lot you can change with the battle system without people complaining. This is realistically all they could do, apart from switching to a completely 3D game.
And if you've actually seen some of the walking around gameplay, the game world is actually built for...
@D4RkNIKON:
It's already shown gamers what it can be good for, you've just chosen to ignore it and continue hating on it. If fun controller free type games aren't your thing, then fine, but that's your preference.
Good games is a relative opinion. I'm a pretty hardcore MW2 player, but I still think the river rafting and break out games looked like a lot of fucking fun. I don't care how I look doing it, if that's something you care about, you may have deeper issues you need to deal with.
Kinect is a major advancement in interactivity for games. To ignore the fact is proof of ones ignorance.
Whether Kinect get's used for games you will like, or in ways th...
How exactly do you plan on operating a DS3 controller with 1 hand, while you have the glowing orb controller in another?
I was sad to see that he doesn't understand why people are so passionate about having dedicated servers. And that he thinks cloud gaming is the future of gaming -_-.
@Poseidon:
You replied to the wrong post XD
And you went a little vague with this post. I put forth 2 games not just one, so whic one are you saying is better physics but not graphics? Because I made no comment about graphics for hydrophobia, I specifically said physics for that one. As for graphics, Crysis is better than Uncharted.
@Poseidon:
Crysis has better water than the Uncharted series.

Although, Hydrophobia wins hand down when it comes to actual water physics:

@Da_SHREDDER:
Well this is obviously a preferences thing then. Not the game being crap.
As a racing game, DiRT 2 is fucking awesome. But that's all it is, a fairly realistic racing game. Whereas Motorstorm is more of an unrealistic high octane smash'em'up racer where your just going bat shit crazy racing all over.
I personally prefer a realistic driving game that's not about smashing up other players, using weapons or any of t...
@gamingdroid:
It doesn't really matter too much that the consoles are at a lower resolution than the PC. All that's doing is giving you a lower resolution render of the whole scenes image overall. It doesn't change how a low resolution texture on a wall will look really. It would still appear blurry, and actually even more blurry due to the lower res.
And PC gaming doesn't need to "come back", because it hasn't really gone anywhe...
I don't know what FPS's you're playing, but in more realistic ones like Modern Warfare 2, turbo controllers can give you a huge advantage. Because they allow you to fire guns that are single shot per trigger pull at extremely fast speeds. And shoot your akimbo weapons off at the exact same time, keeping them in sync.
Lol, troll much?
That's not the type of tracking it does, and you know it.
The 360 and the PS3 have a very small amount of RAM, less than 512mb, plain and simple. And with such a small amount of ram, comes the need for lower res textures and geometry. Because you have limited memory to load those things into. This can be seen in almost any game when compared to the PC versions. And even single platform games like Uncharted 2, if you actually took a close looks at many of the textures, like on the train ride for example, there is a lot of blurry texturing caused by l...
Loved DiRT 2, this is a definite buy for me.
No, not idiots. Merely forced to pay that price so they can have a full game again, able to play when whatever map comes up online. You pretty much have to buy them if you're an active MW2 player. It's just sad they cost that much.
Yeah, many of the trophies for Assassin's Creed for example were freaking ridiculous.
Oh look! You started a new game, here's a trophy!
Oh look! You beat the first chapter, here's a trophy!
And there were quite a few other pointless trophies.
Here's an idea... Make Trophies/Achievement actually WORTH SOMETHING!
The gamer points you get from Achievement's on the 360 for example, you should be rewarded similar points to buy things with on Xbox Live, like an extension on your Gold membership, or even a game if you manage to rack up enough points. It will give people incentive to play more games, and just play more in general. It's a great business model.
Yeah, people who quite out early because they have big ego's and are sore loosers deserve this.
Whichever one has the games and equipment you prefer.
That's lazy programming how exactly?
That's like saying not having an option for infinite health in games is lazy programming. Just because you might prefer it to be one way or another does not make it lazy programming.
