Microsoft doesn't own all the patents, and you have no idea what Apple intends to do with the technology. For all we it could be implemented in wearable tech, or even for a new model of Apple TV. Either way it would be better than what Microsoft did.
I think Nintendo can co-exist on their own even with more powerful hardware by it's competitors. They've always had a family oriented business model and I think everyone can respect Nintendo for that no matter what your primary console of choice is. I think the biggest problems they're facing with the Wii U is poor marketing, poor messaging, and a lack of games. Currently their games catalog is healthy but it's taken almost 2 years to do so. I'll admit Microsoft gave it a nice try with Kinect but now Apple has the technology and they're going to do it right. Because they're not a sloppy and clumsy company like Microsoft.

PS4 sold more consoles in 24hours in it's launch in America alone than Microsoft did in 13 countries. Then went on and did it again in Europe and finished off the launch month of November at 2.1 million. Since then Sony hasn't uttered a word but they continue to break records, and continue to outsell Xbox one. Even as we speak it is the number one best seller at amazon with Xbox One sitting at number 21 for almost a week. Depending on Sony's supply they could reach their 5 million...
So true about the Halo statement. The Xbots refuse to believe it but Bungie was the heart and soul of that franchise. Halo is only Halo in name alone now. That's almost like saying someone other than Naughty Dog is developing Uncharted. Destiny will be the next Halo and it has exclusive content for PS4 lol
Dude there's a lot more to being a great gaming system than superior graphics. That's the one thing that always kills me about you so-called PC master race dudes. Heck i game on PC too and my graphics card is actually pretty powerful, but there's nothing like good old console gaming. PS4 is a excellent gaming machine and while graphically it will never lay a finger to the stronger PC's, it's still great in it's own right.
What are you talking about? Xbox one is supposed to be the ultimate entertainment system. The complete living room hub that also doubles as a water cooler. Games are supposed to have limitless potential using the infinite power of the cloud. Xbox one is supposed to be the perfect media consumption device to watch all your TV on your TV, football, TVTVTV, football, and more TV. And lets not forget that Halo is among us.
It's pretty hilarious really. Once the holiday rush is over Xbone is in big trouble. Right now the only people that are actually buying it are the fanboys and maybe others as a Christmas gift. I really do love Nintendo but these guiys can't be serious. Wii U barely even made Amazons top 100 sitting at 80. PS4 is still dominating at number 1.
First your biggest mistake is your comparing Titan Fall to Halo. Your calling Titan Fall a Call of Duty Killer and system seller and it's yet unproven. The biggest difference between Titan Fall and Infamous is for one Infamous is a proven multi-million franchise. As far as your PS4 goes I'm not sure what you were expecting. It's a brand new console with launch games. I haven't even got a PS4 yet because history and common sense tells you that brand new hardware is always buggy and launch games are always lackluster. You won't even start to see any great games for PS4 or Xbone until around march. Xbone is in so much trouble. You already know Sony is about to lay the gauntlet in 2014 and the majority of 3rd party games will be on PS4 as well as exclusives. The only two weapons Microsoft currently has is Titan Fall and Quantum Break and while they both sound like very good games it just may not be enough for even Infamous and Drive Club which already trump both of those games graphically at 1080p. 2014 will be an interesting year indeed, I think even the Wii U has a shot to exceed the X...
