PC gaming is a very dull experience and is meant to be played by loners, or just plain solo. I game on PC every once in a while for particular games but it is a very isolated way to game and even the online community is full of pricks and weirdos. Everyone I know that games on PC primarily has no life. You just sit in one spot all day long playing all by yourself and never enjoy the outdoors or even game with other people. At least consoles are meant to be enjoyed with family and friends. PC&...
I remember before Xbox One was announced this was something I was very excited about. But after all the DRM policies, the 180's and the bottom line, I could care less. I never really been an Xbox fan at all but Microsoft really let me down, compromising their console integrity in favor of the damn Kinect. At 1st when they bundled the Kinect i thought it was for enhancing gameplay with new experiences like Illumiroom. Who would have ever thought it was all to collect your data.
I'm very much pro-Sony and PS4 all the way, but I'm actually glad that both of these consoles had a great launch. It's just nothing but good news for the gaming community, and the industry as a whole needed this. I'm not sure exactly where Xbox One goes from here or how they'll sale after the holidays, but I'm just glad PS4 is dominating.
Honestly so far the only games that I've seen that shows a real graphical leap in technology is Infamous, Drive Club, and The Order. What do those all have in common? They are not multi-platforms being developed to function on the previous generation to make more sales, they are exclusive only to PS4, and they are all made by Sony. So they don't have to deal with other consoles limitations such as PS3, 360 and even Xbox One. Regardless of graphics this Final Fantasy is one of the game...
"I wouldn’t be surprised to see a big gap — maybe upwards of half a million."
Ha, more like a gap upwards of 2-3 million. PS4 is boning the Xbone.
@NihonjinChick, now that you mention it, perhaps I did just troll. I think that's my 1st time and didn't even realize it. lol
LOL I know, that's the beauty of it.
It is Nintendo's destiny to be absorbed by Sony.

I'm in the same camp as you. I don't think this console war will be close at all. I believe 70/30 is very accurate. Microsoft named their console Xbox One as a testament to the original Xbox I believe. In a lot of ways Xbox One favors the original Xbox 1, console size, only sit horizontally, and even the controller feels a bit like the original. the irony of that is Xbox one is also looks likely to duplicate the original Xbox success where it only sold 24 million. I believe in the end...
This is great news for Nintendo. I've noticed lately since their games catalog has picked up they've been more actively marketing the Wii U. They need to do more things like this to remind the world that they are still here. They can't just let Sony and Microsoft take all the spotlight.
I love how the media try to make it sound as if sales are even saying Sony and Microsoft both sold 1 million consoles in 24 hours. The part they always forget to add is Sony did it all in North America alone and it took Microsoft 13 countries to accomplish the same. Then Sony launched in Europe and did it again. Sales are no where near as even as they try and make things sound.
I can definitely believe this. PS4 is absolutely dominating right now and they haven't even launched in Japan yet which will be the icing on the cake. As a long time PlayStation fan I'm happy to see to see them doing so well, but even I'm surprised they're doing as well as they are. I thought Microsoft would have at least kept things close, and with all things considered Xbox One isn't doing bad at all, it's just that PS4 is doing much better. If Xbox falls flat you ca...
As many as it takes to spread the word that PS4 is kicking butt.
@0ut1awed, Thanks for the info. I may actually buy a Vita now. The truth is I been going back and forth about buying a Vita because I have a lot of cool cheap games on my ipad and haven't saw the need for a dedicated portable gaming device, but the remote play feature really has my interest, so I'm trying to learn more about it. It greatly increases the value of owning a Vita if you have a PS4. At 1st I didn't really think it was a big deal, but now that it's out there I can h...
You mean the remote play still works even 500 miles away? That's amazing, literally PS4 in your pocket. I thought it only worked while being close to it. If that is indeed true then Sony needs to market that feature a little better. That could make all the difference for Vita.
All i know is judging from the reviews even if not every review means a console was sold, is that PS4 is 8 times more popular with almost 4,000 more reviews than Xbox One. Throw in the fact that PS4 is Amazons number 1 best seller overall in video games with Xbox One at 25 and dropping and that tells you the majority of those reviews are actually consoles sold.
Man, your just a wirl wind of feelings, I don't even know where to start. Well for starters I do most of my gaming on PC as well but I am very much a PlayStation fan and will be getting a PS4 next year once the really good games start to roll out. To reiterate my point, this wasn't a debate of graphics, rather it's a debate of game development. PS3 was harder to develop for last gen and this time it is the Xbox One that is the more difficult of the two, due to it's limited res...
Haters will be haters. As much as they stink up the place their role is also necessary. Without haters we have no one to prove wrong.
