Well just about every game that comes out this year will be in better resolution and have a better frame rate on PS4. Also graphically the games are more superior because Xbox One gpu is closer to Radeon HD 7790 which is entry level and PS4 is on par with HD 7870 and PS4 is indeed 50% more powerful even if it's not immediately noticeable at launch. Maybe you don't understand what all that means but those are the facts. So to answer your question I guess all games on PS4 will be better...
Umm VR isn't a gimmick. A gimmick is a trick or device used to attract business or attention. Kinect and Playstation Move are two prime examples of gimmicks. VR however is a standalone way to increase immersion and gaming experiences.
The thought has crossed my mind to get a Xbox One mostly because PS4 is always out of stock and X1 is readily available everywhere, but I just can't bring myself to pay more for a console knowing there is a more powerful console for $100 less with better games coming out this year in my opinion. It also doesn't help the fact that the Kinect is meant to enhance the Xbox One's media functions, yet I still feel like PS4 is the better media server as well and made more simpler.
Fanboys hate to hear the truth. They only take things from articles that apply to their brand and hear what they want to hear even if that wasn't the point of the article. It's quite sad really.
Now that looks like a fun game for the PS Eye. This is one of the main reasons Sony been pushing indies so hard. They're the only ones willing to try something new and creative.
Clearly it's not.
The problem with Wii U is the same as it's always been. They need some hit games, and lots of them. Super Mario 3D World was a gem but they need at least 5 more of those and soon.
Also I think it's past time for Nintendo to start making some new franchises. The fact that they don't have 3rd party support like Sony and MS means their 1st party should be twice as big and they should be working twice as hard as Sony and Microsoft, but that doesn't appear to be th...
Well you can't expect anyone to correct a year of lazy marketing overnight.
So in other words Nintendo is going all portable.
Hitman is very boring in my opinion.
Bioshock Infinite. That game is just completely over rated. I thought Metro, Far Cry 3, and Dishonored were much better but the media always talks as if Bioshock Infinite was the best of the class. I call BS
Parrying is such a huge part of combat in this game. If you don't at least master the basics of parrying you can only go so far.
Downloading Devil May Cry 3 as we speak lol You can't even do that on console even if you brought the game on PS2 with your own money.
I love PC gaming. Always so many options.
Nintendo just milked their franchises for too long. Instead of creating new IP to appeal to a newer younger generation, they just kept milking until the cows got too old.
Well that isn't actually a VR headset in the picture, it just looks like it. The reason that's $1000 is it's meant to be a High Def Television set that you can strap to your face for travels for example on the airplane. I'm sure the VR will be much different and will use different, more affordable technologies.
Backwards compatibility is one of the biggest weaknesses on consoles. This problem is non existent on PC and Mobile. On PC I can still play games from back in the PS2 era with no problem.
This is what keeps me coming back to PlayStation. If not for Sony's IP's I would stick soley to PC.
Well at least the Vita still has a life-line with remote play and future streaming services, but I think it's absolutely terrible whats happening with the Wii U and Vita. And if you think back all the signs were pointing to this. I may be in the select few but these sales of the Vita and Wii U haven't surprised me one bit.
cgoodno, That is your opinion and I do respect it. But like Septic was saying, VR is more of a natural alternative for gaming similar to the way headphones are for music. I couldn't have put it better myself. The technology is still too soon for us to say it's the next big thing and presently you are right, as almost none of us have been able to try it yet, so none of us can really say for sure. However it is something I'm personally looking forward to and hopes it pans out. There...
