It's crazy that PS4 has sold 5.3 million in just 3 months and hasn't even launched in it's parent country yet. By March 1st they could easily be at 6.3 million and that's being generous.
It has to be annoying for Nintendo to sit back and watch the industry copy their ideas. It's been going on for a long time now with the more recent ones being Flappy Bird and now this. Nintendo really should get some backbone and take a page from Apples book and start suing all these copy cats. On that note I'm gonna download this to my ipad seeing as how it's free, but having said that I rest my case.
I guess as long as you own some hardware ( PC, Xbox One, or 360 ) I guess it could be, but if you don't I don't think the game is a big enough deal to go out and buy the hardware specifically to play Titan Fall. In other words it looks like a good game but not a system seller.
This is one of the few instances where I find myself siding with Microsoft. Considering what their trying to achieve with Xbox One I don't see anything wrong with a optional remote for people who prefer a more familiar way to navigate their entertainment. I can understand how that might be viewed as a contradiction, as many people are still looking for justification on paying an extra $100 for Kinect, and depending on how you look at the situation it is.

Microsoft should have made Xbox one like the 360. Instead of all this always On, Kinect crap they were trying to pull it would've been so much easier to just make a true successor to the 360 instead of some played out media hub. I think Xbox One can recover but they will have to move quickly and they will have to take some drastic measures before things get too out of hand. By the end of March and the Japan launch, PS4 will possibly have sold twice as many Xbox One's Globally which puts XOne at a huge disadvantage with 3rd parties which is their bread and butter. Wow Xbox One sales have really slowed down to a crawl. They may be against it but their going to have to cut the Kinect and bring the price down to $350 if they hope to remain competitive. At this rate their heading down the same road as the Wii U.
