What are you talking about, there's a doom article for the Wii U every hour on the hour. Nintendo's getting the worst of it. As for PS4, sticking with the point of the article it just doesn't have the bottlenecks that Xbox One has. There's no agenda here, just concrete facts. PS4 really is the more powerful and faster games machine. Microsoft gimped the Xbox One in favor of Kinect and that is the truth.

Because even those retailers are out of stock by the time I check it out. It almost seems like Sony's sending 100 PS4's at at time, which will be out of stock in minutes flat.
Every time I go on Amazon hoping to buy a PS4 they're always sold out. At 1st I took it as a good sign ( atleast they're selling ) but now it's becoming kind of sad.
I expect the Vita to fade from memory little by little. The fact is there's just no way it can compete with phones and tablets. So far the only next gen games I've seen that even comes close to matching the performance of my PC is KillZone and the previews of Infamous. Xbox one can't even manage a consistent 60fps/ 1080p so I can't really count it as next gen. It's more like slightly above the Wii U performance wise. Maybe in a couple years down the road it will reach a respectable level, but by then the bar will be set even higher.

What next gen is missing right now is backwards compatibility. The gaming drought in next gen systems are always present in it's early life span, but backwards compatibility helps fill the void when there's still so much to play on the previous gen. A few months down the line once more AAA's are released backwards compatibility won't be missed as much but still right now it's a gaping hole. I beat this game on ipad over a year ago i think. Its a very good game and Wii U owners are going to love it.

Sony needs the PS4 to be a huge success so badly. They can't afford to drop the ball on this one. Right now their supply/ demand issues are a huge problem. If they could only meet demand they would take off like a rocket, and by all accounts they are. Their projected PS4 sales of 5 million by March are pretty much set, but I think their biggest problem is they under estimated that demand would be as strong as it is.
I can't wait for the Metal Gear Solid to come out on PS4. Been playing Metal Gear Rising on PC and that game is freaking amazing. I know some people say Konami's milking the Metal Gear franchise but as long as they keep making classics then they can keep milking away.
I used to be a PlayStation only guy but for the past year I've been loving gaming on my PC. The graphics card I been using is on par with PS4 so all my games look amazing. I know there are greater graphics cards out there but I'm happy with the one I have.
I think Nintendo can make a successful new console if they make it a true next gen console. It doesn't even need to have gimmicks like motion controls or a touch screen. All they need is powerful hardware, a decent controller, a killer launch lineup, and befriend some 3rd parties and they'll be right back in the fight. The trick is to keep the price down. That's why PS4 has been such a hit, because Sony did the right balancing of everything and there's no gimmicks.

I hear what your saying but unfortuntely that's the nature of the beast. When the media senses any weakness in something they exploit it to the maximum capacity. They won't stop until Microsoft either fixes their weaknesses or are completely destroyed, and even then their will be articles mocking their existence in the 1st place.
