The thing I don't get about the whole graphics debate in general is that you wouldn't even notice the difference unless they're side by side. Even in this video the differences are minimal. Only thing I can see is the PC version has better lightening but that's not gonna affect the fun factor. And if it does then your playing for all the wrong reasons.
I still find it sad that the original Dreamcast failed. People just didn't give it a chance and it had a lot of good games on it. If only Sega didn't waste so much time and money on all the other failed projects, who knows how far the Dreamcast could have went.
When it all boils down to it the console business is indeed a business after all. And unfortunately in any business there's always underhanded tactics involved and Nintendo is no different than Sony, Microsoft, Sega, etc. It's really all just a matter of perception. For example when Xbox One launched at $500 people percieved Sony to be the good guys launching at $400, when in fact it was all apart of a long term strategy Sony had in mind. nintendo did the Same thing when they launched...
Nintendo just confuses me all the time. It seems like they hardly ever have a plan and all they can think of is making a new zelda or mario. They really should just leave the console business and just become a major third party. People still love their games, but at this point they seem like dinosaurs in the hardware business. What hurts them the most is they dont play well with others. How can you expect a console to be successful with only a handful of games coming each year? Maybe if they ...
Smart move by Sony. Just keep E3 focused on games. That's all people really come to see at E3 anyway. A hardware reveal is too technical and overall boring for the event IMO. History has shown that the fans only want to see games at E3.
Not sure what to think of porn and VR yet. I feel this can be both a good thing and a bad thing.
If Sony does indeed have new hardware in development, make no mistake it will be released in time for the holidays like always.
Obviously it's far too early to say but this could be a system seller if done correctly.
To tell the truth, thats the way it should be. Revealing too much early on creates too much for speculation and people get super impatient. I'd rather them reveal it when it's close to release that way you dont have to wait as long to play it.
Had they done that people like yourself would have complained that it's too expensive. You guys dont realize that you're the ones that actually back these companies into a corner with how they introduce products. It's like you get mad if they do and mad if they don't, so they may as well do it how they see fit because there's really no pleasing this kind of fanbase. Everybody wants the best technology at a cheap price but it doesnt work that way. They had to compromise the...
Looking forward to PS4 NEO, bring it on. People really cant make up their minds. I remember when PS4 came out people would tease and call it PS3.5 because they didnt innovate enough. Now they're making a system with more juice and people still aren't happy. Just learn to be happy with what you have, I'm sure Sony will have some kind of upgrade options. Technology is constantly improving so it should come as no surprise.
Thats the problem when company's see a large scale success; they get complacent.
It does look sweet. I'm bout to download it right now on PC. The PS4 version looks cool though.
Smart move Sony. There's really no point in rushing because it's not like any of the competition is killing it right now, and PlayStation fans are still going to be there. Especially for something like this where there's no way to properly advertise it. The only way to sell it is through experiences which only the games can provide.
People can hate all they want but BC should be the very 1st feature on all consoles. It really shouldn't be a feature at all to be honest. More like a prerequisite.
Nope, they'll just name it Rise of Tomb Raider Remastered and sell it at full price. These game companies are sneaky as hell these days.
I can't believe they had Tiny Tank in that video. Tiny Tank makes you think back to when gaming was at it's best. Back when video game magazines had cheat codes in the last few pages and came with free demo disks. Those were the days.
I'm only just now finding out he passed away. This really is sad news. He will be greatly missed. By the way, the fan art was beautiful. Made my eyes a bit heavy.
Hololens is just Microsoft version of google glass. That's all it is.
Smart move by Sony. History has shown that hardware reveals tend to not mesh well with gamers at E3. Personally I think even VR should take a backseat at E3 but that's just my opinion. The problem is hardware reveals are usually boring after the initial introduction. Too much talk about specs and numbers when all people really wanna see is new games. Besides they still have Tokyo Game Show, Gamescom, or Sony can schedule a private event for that like they did when they 1st introduced the ...
