Look into those eyes of Bobby Kotick, it is like he is staring into my soul and planting the seeds of DLC.
Edit: Not saying I will buy the DLC, hell, I'm not buying MW3.
How about seeing that it was Call of Duty Elite that spelled it wrong, check out the Kotaku post again. They took screenshots of the mess up on the website and they are bashing the typo. They did it on purpose.
Yet, everyone dislikes my post instead of GOING TO KOTAKU and reading the comments there.
Read the comments on Kotaku to know why, instead of bashing Kotaku.
Well, don't tell me that, lol, I didn't submit the article. It was working though when I made my comment.
Well, Atlus has shown they can make some pretty good games, I just hope they have a good team working on this. I am always skeptical when a company uses an actor's likeness for the game, hopefully Atlus can pull this one off nicely.
Yea, my computer is good enough to handle most games, which is why I don't care too much for OnLive. I appreciate what they are trying to do, but I think it will be a few years before the tech is really good enough to work perfectly. And yea, I would have spent my $1 on something a hell of a lot better, but I already owned Deus Ex and several others, so I figured, $1 on a new release was a great deal.
I got Lord of the Rings: War in the North for $1, and since OnLive messes with the coding for the game, they ended up removing a chest that completely breaks the game (cannot progress without the key).
I understand why they do this, they remove things that make it rougher to stream, and they remove video settings so it is static, but when they remove in-game chests/items, they really risk ruining it, which is what happened with WITN, oh well. They haven't said how long i...
I see what you did there, and I approve.
@sxbrady
The PC is hardly a failing market. Steam alone garnered well over a billion dollars in revenue this past year, a failing market? I think not. Yea, it suffers from piracy, but so does Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo.
But you could see the difference, even in the cutscenes, right? I thought the comparison was very good, the point being that you COULD tell the difference between the 3 pictures. Granted, the post shown earlier today was much better because it showed that the HD added many more things with the textures. Point being, this one wasn't entirely bad, but could have been better.
I bet your pocketbook doesn't feel bad though. :) Mass Effect 2 is a great game though, I think it is worth full price, glad you got it though.
Based on my two dislikes and the fact nobody will speak up as to why I am being disliked, let me clarify. I should have put this in my EDIT, but I feel a new comment will be better. After reviewing what I said, it is wrong for a business to pre-screen the review process, yes. When I said "But from a business standpoint, is it wrong? Not exactly," I really meant it along the lines of yes, it is wrong, but it is UNDERSTANDABLE why they do it. I used the wrong wording, I know. How abou...
Maybe publishers wouldn't have to manipulate scores if reviewers would simply review the games from a factual standpoint, rather than a biased opinion. I understand opinion has a lot to do with reviews, but there are ways to get around it in such a way to get rid of at least 90% of the bias.
In EA's case, they tried to root out the bias by asking whether or not the reviewer(s) is a fan of Call of Duty. If he is a true journalist, he would speak the truth regarding the...
Couldn't agree with you more. If I was spending the amount of money these publishers put out, I would want a product that sells, I could care less about creativity. But as lieutenantdan said above, I do agree that creativity is easily just as important as graphics and plot, as well as the overall quality and mechanics behind it.
@Criminal
Correction: Ponies and Minecraft
Watched the intro, then it got super boring, not because of the game, but the player was doing nothing for about 7 minutes straight (all he did was explore and really did nothing). So, great opening, can't wait till November for my PC copy.
You don't wanna see the gearshaft and bolts? Or how about without all that red and blue paint?
@earbus: That was the longest incoherent sentence I think I have ever read.
On topic though, I think ME3 will benefit from it simply because it is co-op. The question that was handed to us though, does it really need multiplayer? No, no it doesn't, but as others have said, it is a nice touch.
Apparently, Cyanide is working on an RPG as well, they wanted to do the RTS for the pre-book stuff and an RPG for the book story-line. We'll see, hopefully it is better than this one.
There is nothing wrong with hashing it for not having OSX support. It brings up the fact that if those Mac people do not have Windows, then they cannot connect their PSV to their computer. That, in a sense, is alienating the customer. Even basic OSX connectivity is better than nothing. I assume Sony will add it eventually though, but it just isn't available at launch.
