I think a lot of things were left out of GZ for the sheer fact they don't want a lot of replay value. They want you to be able to jump into the TPP when it launches, so they left a lot of key gameplay features out of GZ in order to keep you wanting. TPP will be fantastic, do yourself a favor and buy it.
I slightly disagree with Knack. It was a platformer and it should have been treated as such. From the technological point of view, it was next gen due to the amount of objects going on at once. Each one in Knack's body was independent, which takes up resources. Was it the best launch title? Not really, but was it fun and challenging? Yes. Take it as you will, I would not say it was horrible by any means and it was fun to play with friends (local multiplayer).
Yup, I am in the same boat as you, I already bought mine. Oh well, I am loving it so far.
As someone who has, on occasion, played Smite with a controller on PC for fun... I can easily say this will translate well, and I think it would be a fun way to play on my tv as opposed to PC.
I believe they never confirmed nor denied the rumor for it. Knowing Activision, a PC port was definitely in the cards, especially for a game this big (more money).
I am banking on it being further in development than expected, but probably still needs massive polishing before they give us anything. I would like to think FFXV is finished with content and is now in polish phase.
Definitely agree with you on that, it is the only reason why I haven't purchased them yet. I don't need them even more done than they currently are, I just want them on PS4 so I can play them without hooking up the PS3 again, lol.
Your problem lies in what you said exactly: "The press last year from Sony seemed to indicate, essentially, a full game." - Sony never told us it was a full game, that was the interpretation of the press. Sadly, the interpretation was incorrect. I do agree it could have been handled better, both from Sony's end and the media's end of things. The press assumed one thing and Sony was saying something else (or at least meaning something else).
Personally, I nev...

Worth the price? Probably not for many. But was it a good experience? Oh yea, definitely.
Disagree for you, boo your birthday! /sarcasm
I know what I am getting myself too, actually excited for this one as well.
Ha.. yes... yes it is
That is really a matter of opinion. They haven't all been terrible but its obvious that some are better than others, no differently than any other series. And while AC3 was a mild disappointment, AC4 took what was best in AC3 and ended up being one of the better titles in the series.
So Activition did release Moon Moon as DLC... I wonder how many people will actually buy it?
"Growing old" is probably not an accurate statement. They might want to focus on fixing BF4... or maybe the main team is switching over to Battlefront?
@HolyDuck
I think it is a fair assumption considering Microsoft's backbone seller Call of Duty is running at 720p vs the PS4's 1080p, it is safe to assume the rest of the launch games will be native to 720p or maybe as high as 900p. Obviously that is not fully true, but "tons" is likely more accurate than you think.
Interesting. I could have sworn it was not, time to bust out the twitter and ask a couple Sony people, lol. It shouldn't be though, especially with installs that large and on top of that, the faster drive should make up for what we had to have on PS3 (installs).
I may be wrong, but I could have sworn Sony said installs were not mandatory this gen due to the faster Blu-ray drive. I do think 49GB is rather excessive but if it is a full game install, that could make more sense. Hopefully these numbers are bogus, let's wait for an official response before blowing up, lol.
@Studio-YaMi
True, while this is Ubi's fault, it does involve Sony's system, so I wouldn't be surprised if Sony tried to sweeten the apology by giving away PS+ memberships. Though yea, I guess this is unlikely but I wouldn't be surprised if it did happen.
@Campy da Camper
I do think this is what will happen. Sony will ship you the console separately and Ubi will offer a voucher. Seems to be the most likely win-win scenario to ...
Do we need more Last of Us? Not necessarily, but do we need more games that deliver what Last of Us delivered? Yes, definitely.
But do I want a Last of Us 2? Yes, yes I do.
