Agreed. Such a shameless self-fellating intro to boot.
It's one thing to be excited about the games, and I can understand that. But the author instilled the undertone of "I am right, everyone else is wrong, Xbox 360 is the best."
I'm kind of bummed out to find that I won't own the free monthly games the PSN+ service provides, but upon consideration, it's still a great price. Plus, I barely ever play my downloadable games a month later unless they are truly incredible -- like SF2T HD Remix, or Pixeljunk Monsters.
This is both sad and hilarious.
I never expected Natal/Kinect to do well, but I am still bummed to see they aren't doing their best to at least attempt success.
I haven't heard anyone comment on this, but could the title Kinect also tie in to Microsoft's Kin phone? Perhaps this further ties into the visual rebranding of the Xbox consoles.
SOTN has one of my favorite game soundtracks ever. Ranks right up there with the best works of Uematsu and Mitsuda.
I'd love to be able to enjoy this game using a traditional controller.
I've got to take it a step further, too. How in the world do people use analog sticks on a DS3 where their thumbs touch? Are they using their palms to move the sticks around?
I noticed a few more flaws:
1.) The Wii's nunchuk does have buttons
2.) The Nintendo 64's Z button wasn't a trigger, it was just trigger shaped.
3.) The N64 C-buttons also paved the way for camera controls being linked to the second analog stick. In a time...
This author lost his credibility with me by immediately naming the DC controller as one of the worst. I found it to be one of the most comfortable controllers I've ever used.
Daikatana.
This is a step in the right direction. I couldn't be more approving of this.
Geez, its less of a review and more of a FAQ. Is that a list of every single spell in the game?
I'm probably alone in this, but that thing is sort of ugly. It definitely throws off the slim, chic look of the PS3 having a bunch of wires and lumps in plain sight.
Whats next, Top 10 Games of This Week?
"Saving grace" implies that Shadow makes the game worthwhile. That isn't the case.
Amano is seriously talented.
tl;dr
I find it offensive because its downright embarrassing for the author as well as anyone who wastes their time reading it.
Farmville isn't much of a video game. I'm not sure why its even mentioned in the same breath as actual virtual entertainment.
Kinect is almost exactly the PS Eye, developed years ago for the PS2. Of course, the PS Eye is now part of the the set of technology behind Move.
So how can Kinect be one hundred times more advanced than Move?
