Agreed.
played both online. I like cops and robbers but not enough to stop playing the single player campaign. I went online maybe 2 hours per console and I don't think I will go back online until I am done with the single player if I go back online at all.
It's not my cup of tea online. A couple of my friends love it but I am more into the story and missions then playing online. Both worked great for me online. No problems with either freezing up or not being able to connect online.
It is easy to figure out how guys like mart keep their bubbles. Just look at his tracking list. How many of them do you think are part of his little troll click that help keep him bubbled up?
Besides the fact that it is so easy to make a multiple accounts if you are desperate enough to do it. But what ever people do don't add trolls to your inore list. Keep them in site to -bubble them as often as you can.
I don't understand how N4G mods can even allow him to po...
some people have more time on their hands then they know what to do with.
I have both version and I am enjoying both for different reasons. Both have their pros and cons. I like the game so much I might actually finish it on both consoles.
@fablib
Care to explain IGN going out of their way to do a comparison video saying none of it matters if they were paid off by Sony?
Sony: here IGN say our version is slightly better in more aspects of the game over the 360 counterpart.
After review hits.
Sony while blushing: here IGN take some more money and do a comparison video and say they are pretty much dead even and none of it matters.
with your post speaks volumes as to why rumors like this burn in flames on sites like this (fanboy paradise). There was no sides taken with your point and yet some immature insecure moron hit the disagree tab. Absolutely sad.
Bubble up to you titntin for an EXCELLENT post!
Watching the playoffs right now and I saw one. I might actually go pick up my copies of GTA IV tonight since I am still up and the store is right around the corner from me.
Circuit City, Gamestop and the PS3 commercials. I might take CC up on their commercial. I wonder if they will give gift cards for each GTA IV you purchase or if it's limited to only one per customer?
The CC one had a 360 console displayed and then it did an also on PS3 but the main GTA IV commercial was strictly PS3. It is actually a good thing though. It might make MS work harder to keep promotions going through other retailers and commercials supporting those promotions like ...
be reasonable. Whole cites for 50 million dollars? First it's 2 DLCs for 10 hours of additional gameplay each and now it's whole cities. WOW!
not bite the hand that feeds you.
AKA advertising dollars.
IGN says the PS3 version is superior and then there is a retraction video, kind of. Yes the PS3 version is blah, blah, blah but that doesn't make it better. Oh the 360 version has more vibrant colors (is RGB and Super Whites set IGN) but you can easily change that with the color settings and display options.
Reviewer: The vehicles seem to control better on the PS3 but that is probably because I am just use to the PS3 controller even though I have completed the game on the 360!?...
Gears 2 is the only reason I am keeping my 360 and it will probably be the next time I fire it up.
Is this a certainty? Because I have yet to read it in any review. If there was an optional install wouldn't these sites say the problems that are more noticeable on the 360 version could all but be eliminated if you have a hard drive an do the install?
Irony at it's best.
Maybe a name change is in order. Instead of The Dude I am thinking Tattoo.
was to have the better version. Mission accomplished.
I stopped caring about achievements 6 weeks after I got my 360 (I have just under 26000). They are rarely ever done right and some like PGR4's where you actually purchase an achievement are done right silly.
I heard mention of the PS3 having some type of Home intergradation but I never cared enough to research it. I just play it to and not for trophies or gamer score . It's not like MS or Sony award you with anything ...
Sony won't get any DLC from R*. (heavy on the sarcasm) The only real difference being Sony not having to break out it's check book to do so.
By the time that DLC comes out for GTA IV we will be too busy playing the dozen exclusives coming out this year for the PS3 while you will be waiting on Gears 2 for November. The only big market exclusive coming out for the 360 2008 worth mentioning.
There is a new waitstation in town boys and girls and it has a 60 after it...
Color saturation (something I can adjust on my TV) equals better load times, less pop in, more stable frame rates and better anti-aliasing?
that GTA IV though?
Biggest game released this gen and which system does it look better on Jason 360? And just think.... MS paid millions upon millions to R* while Sony passed on payoffs and even then MS had the nerve to mock Sony because of the install. LOL! That PR department at MS is lost now. Time for them to go on a permanent vacation.
says hi.
their estimates usually favor MS. So the numbers could actually be bigger for Sony then VGC is "estimating" here.
There is no doubt MS was smart enough to know just how badly they needed GTA IV. That is why they went after it so hard. I just don't see what MS could possibly have left in the tank to compete with Sony from here on out. Gears 2 wont be enough and I am well aware of most of their other exclusives over the next couple years and most of them are unproven I...
