That was garbage. SNL needs a complete overhaul or simply just cancel the show. I stopped watching years ago. Every once a in while I turn it on for a few minutes and I am quickly reminded why I stopped watching when all you see is garbage skits like this one.
but I am pretty sure you left out the ability to use nearly and USB or Bluetooth perp (headset, mouse & keyboard, flight stick, racing wheels, etc....)
And IMHO that is HUGE flexibility sorely lacking on the 360. I am rather ticked that I cant use my Logitech G25 to play PGR4 and Forza 2 with. The wheel available for the 360 is garbage compared to the G25. I know because I have that one as well.
Everything has to go through MS certification (proprietary crap...
Because of the recent news regarding GTA IV on the PS3 vs 360 Gametrailers.com is getting ready for another comparison video. This time they swear they will use both versions of the actual game but they can't guarantee same cables, display settings or possible bias determining their outcome. ;-)
Sorry. I was just trying to make light of a potential flamewar that this article most likely will fuel.
All I have to add to the actual article is good for R* and Take T...
Kotaku has b@llz
with bladestar. By this time next year he will be talking about MS launching their new system because Sony will have either caught MS or completely surpassed them globally. You can never win debating trolls and fanboys.
This generation, other then a few exclusives (a very few), is all but over for MS. They will be in 3rd as far as console sales go, with in the next year to 18 months (maximum).
As a gaming fan I just hope MS stays in the gaming industry to keep So...
it's that sites, mags and journalist are all swayed by self bias, swag, advertising dollars and other various forms of payoffs.
I have played both games for a few hours each side by side and sometimes I forget which version I am playing until I squeeze the controller.
Just look at the comparison video between Gears and Gears 2. They darkened the detail a bit in Gears. Brumak on the original Gears of War has a lot more detailed then displayed in that video compari...
That was not a good video comparison. I am playing Gears right now in the background and they made it look darker and a little muted in this comparison. There is no doubt the game has seen some visuals upgrades but they are minor. That isn't a bad thing considering how excellent the original is but let's not make it out to be more then it actually is.
This generation of gaming suffers severely from over hyped product that usually never lives up to the hype. I hope Gears 2 break...
Rally Racer this gen. I enjoyed DiRT but it not as much fun or as intense as Motor Storm. I can't wait for Motor Storm 2. That and I wish Dice would make a new Ralli Sport Challenge game. I still don't understand why that franchise was put out to pasture.
is trying to do with GRID. It's an arcade racer with arcade physics and car damage? I played online for a couple hours and it's way too easy to put missle someone and take them out of the race.
One thing Codemasters definitely has to get on before this is released is the ability to go the wrong way and cause havok online. Most newer racers make you go invisible so you cant go the wrong way and crash into people but not GRID. It got annoying fast when I ran into more then one m...
Never even experience a hiccup on my 60g PS3. Sucks that some people are having issues. I wonder if it has something to do with Nat2 or some other port issue router related. Some games have issues with your router for what ever reason.
Too much bias, advertising dollars and swag thrown around to trust any of them.
Someone needs to tell Greenberg it's puff, puff, pass. He obviously isn't passing and puffing WAY too much.
It's not even in the same stratosphere visually.
The car models in GT5P blow away GRID (are better then any racer out this gen hus far).
So I guess you think DiRT looks as good as GT5P as well because graphically DiRT and GRID are almost identical.
It's a solid racing game. I didn't care for the drifting part of the game with the Nissan but I liked the 1st and 3rd races with the BMW and Mustang. The Mustang looks beastly.
It's definitely a solid racer but a far stretch from the top tier racing games.
how did I already play it on my PS3?
Played it on XBL already too. It's nice not to be a narrow minded fanboy and have both systems.
The game is nothing special. I am actually disappointed. It's DiRt on tarmac. Same engine, same graphics, same stat tracking, same load screens. The only difference is this has a real online mode as opposed to time trials.
This game was all hype. It's fun. Has dynamic camera angles and nice lighten fx but all in all it's just...
They don't.
I am not being a fanboy but I am serious. They don't compare at all to GT5P. They are not even close to being in the same league. I played the GRID demo on both the 360 and PS3 already. It's DiRT on Tarmac. Nothing more and nothing less. It uses the same engine and the same load screen with the same stat tracking.
It's a fun game to play but comparing it to GT5P is like comparing a hotdog with no bun and a glass of water to a steak w/potatoes, veggies and yo...
*points above*
something tells me he is feeling a little green if you know what I mean
DLC on PSN =
King by quantity? No.
King by quality? Yes.
I have both systems and nothing on XBL compares to the quality of GT5p, Warhawk, Tekken:DR, Star Dust HD and the soon to be released Wipeout HD.
As far as you laughing at us all? (so mature of you btw) I have a very strong feeling that most PS3 owners will be laughing harder, louder and a heck of a lot longer then 360 only owners since the PS3 is built for longevity. How is the Xbox doing comp...
made on each system independently or if it was ported from one system to another?
You need to learn the difference between bragging and pride. There is nothing wrong with taken pride in your hard work and not having that hard work and information you share possibly misinterpreted.
I myself am not a big fan of MGS or Hideo Kojima's efforts but I am a fan of Japanese work ethics.
