I ran Crysis on high settings with a PC built in late 2006. And the original crysis looked better than anything AnteCash stated.

But the comparison isn't fair and should stop. Of course the PC is better. It will always be that way. And as a console gamer you should be happy for this fact because the PC keeps pushing the graphics ahead further and further so the next generation of video games has an even bigger leap in quality and abilities. It is a win-win for everyone r...

On 3 monitors in stereoscopic 3D?

I am extremely excited about the Sony PS4. But no one should delude themselves into thinking that either console is an "upgrade" to the PC.

The CPU and GPU in both systems are cripled PC parts that came out anywhere from 1-1 1/2 years ago. Which will be 2-2 1/2 years by the time the consoles launch.

Will the consoles be awesome? YES! But not because they are an "upgrade" from the PC.

I agree, Jeff. People don't realize how much of the PC is instal and go now days. Yes people still have some problems but for the most part things like Steam and Origin keep your game up to date and in the case of steam even keeps your AMD drivers up to date for you.

The only real difference between the consoles and the PC is the unified memory set up. The CPU and GPU in both systems are downgraded and underclocked off the shelf PC parts.

And there is NOTHING wrong with that fact. Of course PCs offer better visuals and more flexibility. It will always be that way. But the guy nailed it on the head when he said that consoles have a place for those that want more simplicity and don't care if their games scale up over time instead of ju...

Other than unified memory what is different from the PS4 and PC?

So that makes it okay? No. It doesn't. If we did to the government employees what they do to us (without warrants which they are supposed to acquire first!) we would all be sitting in prison.

Cloud Computing = Distributed Computing.

I think it is funny that MS said they couldn't do this very same thing without the mandatory check-ins and DRM they had planned. I wonder if they will backtrack and allow it now that Sony has, once again, one-upped them.

STEAM has been doing this on the PC since day one. (read- 10 years ago!!!!) So Microsoft saying they can't do it with a disc based system is just crazy talk.

I remember saying that the CURRENT kinect was being used as a spy device and people telling me I am crazy a couple years ago.

I wish I was crazy guys. :(

^^I wish I had known that. :(

EDIT: GMG had it for the same price as Steam.

I must be the only person that thinks the PS4 and Xbox1 both look like decent additions to the media cabinet. Neither one screams "geek" or "look at me!". They both will blend in nicely without being an eyesore.

The few people I know do not get any form of motion sickness. I think it is a person to person deal like stereoscopic 3D tends to be in general.

28 days later the Zombies were alive but died of starvation after a month. Does that make them not zombies?

They are mindless killing machines that were once normal humans taken over by a virus (whether viral or bacterial) and slowly deteriorate over time. The means of which they became mindless killing machines is moot. Walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, tastes like a duck- it is a duck.

Zombies.

I'm pretty sure they meet the definition of Zombie. They were human, then got infected (mostly through bites at first), they go through different stages of degeneration, and they attack those who are not zombies instinctively on site.

Zombie.

If you like those types of games you should check out the Steam greenlight/indie collections.

WAY more indie games like Grindea (16bit zelda w/co-op and dynamic real time fighting), UnEpic (metroidvania), Anodyne (think 8-bit Zelda), and a whole lot of games that have never been created before. You don't need a powerful PC to play most of the games either.

I prefer my PC over consoles, sure. But I still play on the consoles. They have a lot to offer too.

^^ I would love to see MMO and RTS games that make use of a Keyboard/Mouse or a dedicated KB/M like gamepad. I think if they did this they would completely dominate the competition.
