Exactly my thoughts. I just wish someone would give them the license for the STALKER series.
The difference won't be much. Not with the ability for the X1 to use things that save on system resources like the move engines, the EDRAM, and hardware tiling.
But I think later in the life of the console the PS4 will hold a clear, if not extremely ahead, advantage over the X1.

Agreed. Project Cars (PC) looks light-years ahead of the competition in terms of visuals.
I was simply pointing out the video shown didn't impress as it looked worse than years old hardware and a years old game.
I'm sure the game will be more polished by release date though.

For those of us older gamers the good choices always had better "consequences" in the long run. Also I tend to try and make choices in games that I feel I would make in real life.
The ONLY time I've never had a problem being the "bad guy" was playing The Old Republic as a Sith character. Of course I am playing as an evil doer so making the bad choices seemed to be the only way to go.

Nintendo shot themselves in the foot by releasing a console that is neither last gen nor next gen. If feels like a hardware refresh that doesn't quite belong. Add to that the fact most people see the only "upgrade" as being a controller that no one asked for.

Personally I didn't think FF7 was anything even close to being as good as Xenogears. On top of the fact the story was better the gameplay mechanics were better because they were timing/combo based. It never got old.
This is really a boon for all PC gamers. FINALLY we are going to get native x64, fully multi-threaded, and optimized games on the PC to really show off what they've been capable of for a while but the dev community has yet to provide.

I loved this game. I remember cramming in homework as fast as possible in high school in he evening so I could play this. One of the very few RPGs I beat back then.
Microsoft didn't listen to consumers. They read the writing on the wall and looked as the pre-order numbers and realized that they would have to backtrack if they wanted to compete.
Mark my words though- you WILL get what they attempted the first time around eventually. They are just going to implement it one piece at a time.
For me personally it doesn't matter much. I've already played all the great exclusives and the PS3 will work as a media extender/Blu-ray player/streaming device for years to come so no reason to get rid of it any time soon.
