^^ Yep, better graphics is about all it would take for me to buy the new system as well.
And you are totally right. 720p ~30fps and extremely low resolution textures and AA settings are getting harder and harder for me to swallow.
^^ He was good at selling over-priced/under-performing junk at a higher price than the competition. The guy was a TRUE capitalist and businessman. But he didn't do jack squat for video games or gaming in general.
The only thing I wish would change about Dark Souls is making PvP or co-op easier. I hate the fact you gotta go farm humanity from rats and the like if you want help from other people who are waiting around to help you.
I think it is more difficult than a lot of modern games. But is isn't so hard as to be considered brutal either.
This game is all about upgrading, finding the right paths to take at the right levels, and leveling up. Also, finding the right weapons for your preferred play style helps too.
Yeah, average. I feel really let down by not just the game but the "megatextures" promise of next gen graphics. Although, on the 360 it does look better than I thought it would. But my PC just laughs at it compared to Crysis 2 high rez+DX11 and BF3. :/

Yeah.. being able to use your kinect to control your dashboard WASN'T promised a year ago? You need to go back and watch the advertisements on youtube for Kinect then come back and tell me we were all misled.
Not in my book, but we all have different tastes. Dark Souls, Uncharted 3 (assuming it is as good as 2), Skyrim (again, if it is good), and Dues Ex would all be on my list. That is just off the top of my head though.
I'm excited about this. Of course, THIS is what I was promised almost a year ago when I bought the Kinect. Better late than never. I am certainly going to use this a lot now. Thanks MS, for making me just that little more lazy I don't even need the remote anymore. :)
Looks very good for a console game, and it was already a great game to start with. Crytek should be proud.

Single player typically only looks better than multiplayer on a console, not PC. For the vast majority of games on the PC the Multi/single looks the same.
Because they are walking advertisements for games, gaming related devices, and they were at the FirstLook games convention. That is why it is gaming related.
I was surprised at how good Fallout New Vegas looked in 3D.
One thing I have noticed is that the more realistic graphics become in FPS games the harder it is to spot the enemy if they are not running in front of you. I keep getting shot and asking myself "wtf did that come from?!".
This sucks. But I guess that means the used copy will be that much cheaper then? So it will work out in the end? You get less for your trade but it costs less to buy used to make up for the pass needed to play?
