Terraria has objectives and bosses and has since day one. Plus it is easier to build your place in a 2D space than it is in a 3D space. (at least when doing it the hard way by actually playing it)
I think if there were objectives and bosses and stuff like that MineCraft would appeal to more people.
Lol, now that everyone who wants to play it has and got bored of it, it is ready for launch. Maybe I am over-doing it a bit, but everyone I know that used to play minecraft has already moved on.

Wow, my horse only dies when I fall off a cliff. Other than that it just runs away and heals itself then comes back. My horse single handily killed a dragon for me while I watched in disbelief. :/
Now THOSE features would make DLC worth purchasing if it were true. :)
I imagine the people making the marketing decisions probably never played the game.
Sorry, killing me for no reason even after another officer told them I was not a rebel was all I needed to NOT side with the Imperials. But you don't have to side with either, right? Any way it goes I am not joining the imperials. But if the game makes me choose I am joining with Stormcloaks.
I've had glitches where I use fast travel while on my horse and when I get to my location I am floating about 30-40ft up in the air.. then I fall and my horse dies. :/
I've had two CTDs. According to steam I've played it for 11 hours so far. So I guess that isn't too bad.
Steam didn't wait forever to tell us. But of course Steam is more widespread since there are a lot more steam users than PSN users. AND I can still use steam, just not the forums.
I certainly don't want to have to change my credit cards again since last time there were attempts to use my card online. So far there have been no attempts from the steam breach but it took a while before the Sony breach that my card was attempted online so I guess time will tell.
Pure genius! Kinda like reverse pick pocketing and putting something poisoned on someone to later come back and find them dead. :)

I think it peaked with Black Ops and will decline from here on out. Yes, I know sales say otherwise. But the general "mood" of the online community is not one of being pleased with the new product they have been playing for the last day or so like it was with Black Ops.
^^ That must be why I don't care for it. No friends, just random people to play with. I got in on the PC though. And even though there are a bajillion PC gamers out there I seem to only know 2 in real life.
^^ Go check the forums for the public outcry every game is released and it DOESN'T unlock at midnight in their time zone even though they can walk down to the local walmart and pick it up at midnight on the dot.
I don't complain though, I love Steam. But if you are a "gotta have it at midnight" type of person don't even think about getting it on STEAM unless you live in Hawaii.
