I doubt anyone here will ever play it. Don't get me wrong, I used to love the show when I was eight years old but, this is not a big deal. Plus, like SpoonyRedMage said, "It's possible that the 360 port is being done by a different studio though."

I understand for you, what your friends play dictates what platform you play and pay more for but for me, I rather play the system I do not have to pay more to play the same or less to me, but hey, "what you eat don't make me $hit!" sweetie =)
Sercurity? Obviously not since many are to point out how this is NOT a new scam.
Faster online/less lag? Maybe when PSN launched but now it is more or less the same, plus PSN has more games with dedicated servers.
Community? Unless I look for my friends, I cannot ever remember running into the same people twice on any game on my ps3.
Exclusive videos/games? Video services including Netflix are the same and I would venture to say that the ps3 downloadable titles...
about Splinter Cell and Crackdown, Alan Wake seems meh, but I think the PS3 has more polished exclusive awesome gaming experiences (not talking about graphics, but fun).

I have and I have to say that Metroid, Civilization, most of the slew of Final Fantasy titles, both Zeldas, all the marios, hotel dusk etc etc etc All very fun ADULT games...just don't be so biased and you might not miss so many good games.
Everyone knows Sony needs a fresh start with its portable playstation market and saw that MS's move to come out first really stumbled and took a considerable amount of market share from Sony. Plus, like you said, all that printed money from the Wii and DS this gen sure make it easy.

PC games have been and will always be better than console gaming. The one downside is that about every two-three years you need an upgrade to play the newest game well, which it seems you and your SIX friends are playing on old rigs. But seriously....better framerates, better AA, better textures, better character control via mouse and keyboard, able to choose server. If this was multiplatform, then I would understand, but consoles will come back in and those who would buy a ps3 for it will buy it then. I just don't see the need for such hassling. Who knows why it is short: computer parts, new sku, major failure at a factory..who knows.
