does a ps3 in debug mode need the latest firmware to run games? If you never update your PS3 and the current debug units do not require the latesy firmware, how could they fix this if the person never goes online again with their ps3?
You make alot of valid points except the fact that this dongle puts the system in debug mode, which bypasses all of the security Sony and IBM made for the ps3 and allows for all code, including unsigned code to be run on the ps3.
Then I found BF2 and TF2 and have never looked back!
Don't forget the new game engine they have to develop every year =)
that companies have grown too big to be supported off of the business they started from (people buying games to have fun) and now must evolve the business into a initial purchase AND subscription model just to survive.
Sorry guys, if you cannot survive off of people paying $60 per copy of the game, then you are not developing correctly. Look at the iTunes for example, people buying games that are fun and no developers that have grown so big that they need to start charging...
only in the USA....I mean, only in Brazil?
which the ps3 currently supports both and that is why it will have a fighting chance to succeed. I own a ps3 and pc, but will only get this on my pc.
probably just for the ocarina of time remake. My favorite game of all time still, end of story. Plus, it looks like Nintendo is really going after the hardcore again and that makes me very, very excited as I have been left with a hole in my gaming heart since the N64.
I disagree just on the basis that you are flame-baiting a discussion...shame on you sir.
It only sounds stupid if "the_only_lol_king" said that every GT after GT 5 would take as half as long as the previous installment. He did not say that actually. So, let's just go with the big boy over at Polyphony Digital and say that it won't take as long to develop GT 6, because it will be using the same engine.
Have you even looked at any of the videos or pictures that have been steadily flowing out of Polyphony Digital? The game is nothing short of stunning.
Do you not like to use commas? Yeah, who cares about sentence flow!
With the level of quality and amount of gameplay crammed into GT 5, why would you want another edition released two years after? Seriously, the game looks amazing, has really cool features (voice chat for people watching others race, 16 player racing, NASCAR, damage, and I am sure with have 2-3 $10 packs with tons more content over the next 1-3 years). Do you really want Activion kind of support for every game???
Protect us consumers against massive amounts of shovelware and I will not hack your handheld. I would say the biggest reason the average hardcore person hacked a DS is because they were tired of spending $30 and getting garbage over and over.
it uses kinect technology to detect a person in space and where their eyes are and move the image accordingly....says so in the article...just saying...
Please, please, PLEASE, check your spelling....
If I am watching the World Cup and my children are watching Dora the Explorer...what will the "wedge" do with the sound?
1st real hardcore game to not feature Kinect but heavily feature Move...ouch MS...ouch. Will that hardcore market that made you buy millions of these like they did your console, GoW 1 & 2, entire Halo franchise, fable, forza, etc
is have what the Wii should have been for us gamers. 1:1 movement, voice recognition, camera integration and HD. Yes it will be expensive, especially for more than one player, but like all Sony things I have bought over the years, it will be heavily supported, durable and worth it.
LOL hilarious
