great point, the gunmen often commit these crimes because they want the news networks to plaster their faces all over their networks so people will forever remember them. Even if its for something as awful as shooting up an elementary school.

to add to this you can redownload anything on the playstation store. as long as you put any ps+ game in your cart it will be on download list.
so for games you just need internet, cloud storage if you need to move save files for room.
so theres another option.
Sony is trying to create a new market by targeting hardcore gamers. "console quality on the go"
Problem is hardcore gamers want good games and its hard to get development without a good adoption rate. They are also starving for new consoles and new tech, not familiar tech in small package. they also want that killer app/exclusive.
im not saying 3ds has nothing for hardcore, but its bread and butter is kids. families that want to buy their kids vide...
This.... calling it dead is jumping the gun, it hasnt been out for a year yet. It has had a slow adoption rate, but lets see how it does this holiday.
I feel like its market is different than 3ds. just like ps3 is different than the wii.
I will say that a good COD game would have been HUGE and its a missed opportunity. but it wasnt the only thing the vita was hanging on. plus its still selling units (not everyone reads reviews)

sounds great for those that do not have tablets. I prefer to watch youtube and do a good amount of surfing on my Ipad. obviously a nice little added perk for a good amount of people.
When i end up picking one up, it would be nice to take advantage of browser on controller or youtube to take breaks from gaming, or to even help it.

PC games are timed delays for economical reasons rather than technological.
and thats us the consumers fault.
its nintendo next gen, which is unfortunatley a generation behind playstation, xbox, and a gen and a half behind PC.
Nintendo uses controllers to sell system instead of specs in order to build a cheaper machine.
I think nintendo would benefit more from coming out at the halfway point of playstation and xbox lifecycles in order to take advantage of cheaper tech to build.

I am not worried about the 4 hour thing, complainers can keep going back to that, but as a good amount of people stated, some of the longest games out can be sped through in no time. Morrowind, Fallout, Dark Souls, etc.
