Was playing inFamous and decided to check n4g for some more E3 headlines and read this
It was like "Wait- What?!" and began the download in the span of three seconds. lol
40% now :)
Sure, it's dated now but in it's day - the population, and sense of wonder, discovery, and classes / sub-jobs could not be beat.
I'm actually really amped about this
... at least they hated it when MGS4 was only on PS3. Calling it just a movie... but now that it's coming to 360, the series is gold again?
Anyways, multi-plat or not, enjoy the game 360 fans
True stealth or Action title, a Kojima game never disappoints
Actually, most would say that it's the other way around...
PS3 was the trojan horse for Blu-ray to gain a sizable market over hd-dvd. Winning the next-gen dvd format war was the real prize. The next gen game console war is small potatoes in comparison.
EVERYONE buys / rents movie disks. Only gamers buy large libraries of games. And that Wii crowd buys even less... maybe Wii Play and Wii Fit with a random Mario title. Grand-parents and moms aren't buying Mad Worl...
so why force it?
Besides, MS fought hard to get that price advantage, blu-ray may all but eliminate that.
EDIT:
Thanks Beavis!
And Calaborg is right. MS has said repeatedly that now that they have "beaten" Sony, they will now turn their attention towards the Wii. That might mean just a lower price, but I think they want that massive "family fun" market of the Wii -- which means lots of DVD9 friendly mini games and low ...
I didn't disagree, but the man made is own luck. You can't have a hand in creating as many greats as Stan has and just be lucky. The man's a Legend. He deserves his due.
And while I agree that Bob Kane is also a legend, Bill Finger was responsible for taking Batman out of the lame red-tights suit Bob had him in and place him in the Gray & Black suit that we revere today.
Bill also added the detective slant to Batman and wrote the best stories according to Kane...
As along as this game is good, I'll be happy
Shoot, PLEASE give me a good clone of...
FFVI
MGS3 & 4
MarioKart64
Rogue Squadron
StarFox 64
Twisted Metal 2/Black
Ocarina of Time
GTA:San Andreas
inFamous
I'll be a happy, clone-having man :)
NOTHING controls like inFamous. I simply cannot believe how you can just tear across the cityscape and rooftops like that.
There's no sketchy / iffy "er... am I gonna make this jump" moments of fear and frustration. Just beautiful, effortless Spider-man / bad guy that 007 chased at the beginning of Casino Royale like movement and controls...
I have never played a game that allows that advanced type movement at such a fluid, lightning pace. Absolutely s...
Nomura certainly wasn't happy when XIII went multi-platform
His heart seems to be all about FFvXIII now
I dunno if FFXIII is gonna be that good... but maybe he's already finished with his input with XIII, so he can focus on vXIII now
"Could be GrayFox and not Raiden...i mean why would Raiden cover his left eye?"
Good question. Hmm... Maybe in honor of Snake?
Either way, I can't wait! :)
Imagine the move-set available to that cyborg ninja :)
so shut up and enjoy it then
it got even better after the controls patch.
I think the stubbornness in not including the analog controls at launch or soon after was the game's downfall
I'm with Tsar. Should we be worried?
I'd be getting a name change right now if my name Sarah or John Connor
Just saying...
That's what I do to my women when they try to leave my house.
I'm like "Who said you could leave?" and then I point outside. And there they are... the bees... >:[
Why do you think that thunder-stealing site has a virus? ;P
Just playing...
"Recruit pimps, hos , fight local ganstas and prevent the cops from shutting you down...Gain special items to help your pimps and hos. Amour for protection and guns for damage. Dope will help your hos work harder and bring in more cash."
... that game kind of sounds fun! :D
Just keep the kids away (easier said than done), and don't use it as crime college.
Yup, This and Crisis Core for me.
I actually always wanted one, but those two sealed the deal.
I had a feeling that inFamous was going to be good because SuckerPunch did the Sly Cooper games. And now we're seeing such great reviews.
I really hope Prototype shines also. I mean those guys made Hulk: Ultimate Destruction and that was a gem.
with the amount of back-tracking in that game.
But then again, I put that on Capcom. They should have just added another disk to the 360 version and give Dante his own unique quest in the story instead of Nero's sloppy seconds
