If there's only one complaint about Peace Walker, it may be struggling with the PSP control schemes.

I was expecting a smoother transition after GoW:CoP nailed (and some would say even improved upon) the GoWII control scheme.

PW offers a "MG4-esque" button layout. But let's face it, it's not the same buttery smooth controls of that game without the extra shoulder buttons and the analog stick.

Great game, but one that I ...

I vacuum my launch 60gb pretty regularly and actually opened it up twice to clean it out.

If you want a thorough cleaning, you're going to have to gut it - meaning pull out your blu-ray drive, hard drive, motherboard, everything - just to get to the fan which is connected to the motherboard.

That's where most of my dust was, right by the fan

When I closed it up this last time, I only had three "extra" screws left over :)

I'll try to give honest opinions of the game when we're allowed to

Not bashing 360, but DS has looong open levels in great detail.

If you ever played any highly detailed, top graphics game on the 360 like Gears 2 or ME2, you'll notice that the levels are beautifully detailed but segmented. Maybe it's because DVD limitations or not every 360 is guaranteed to have a harddrive so the devs segment the levels. But there is almost always a convenient (but non-story related)obstacle stopping you from back-tracking to the beginning of the ...

I'm glad to see some gamers who bought this game step up.

The most telling reviews will come from other gamers, so I hope to see more people come forth with honest reviews of this game

It's like a snuff film in there :(

The brutality...

"While Crackdown 2 made its way around the office, many over-the-shoulder observers noted the same deficiencies: it's identical to the first game and terrifically ugly"

That's an actual quote from the article.

Now I'm wondering how the heck this game even managed to get a 7.5 from IGN?

EDIT:

And to put things into p...

His eyes change colors depending on whether he can see you or not. No lie...

When you're in cover and they're one color, it's safe to sprint to the next hiding spot. When he sees you, his eyes will change - That means hurry your butt to cover

Also, dual wield your weapon to get through obstacles quicker

Good Luck!

You can kill them both

Red Dragon in 1-2, I believe.

Run past him on the bridge, until you reach the tower in the middle of the bridge. Run outside of the bridge and climb the stairs to the top of the tower. You'll know you're in the right place when a guy with an axe tries to chop you down on the stairs and they'll be two soldiers on top of the tower you can kill. You notice a couple of barricades facing towards the beginning of the bridge whe...

I'd say hardest fight is Flamelurker or Old Monk if online (the game will actually grab another player around your level to fight you for the boss fight -- you could luck out with a weaker player or someone who turns their back, or you could get nuked / wreaked by an elite player).

The most treacherous, worrisome, freaky fight for me though has to be the False King. Only because one wrong move and you could get precious levels drained. that's right, that bastard dra...

Oh, so true

I still remember how freaked out I was when I crept around a corner and a huge-ass centipede with a Freddy Kruger face was just sitting there waiting for me.

I f'n yelped all high-pitched and jumped back just in time as he lunged right passed me.

That's why I walk with shield up CONSTANTLY until I know that level backwards

Hopefully, Sony listens to the devs

But truthfully, Krazy Ken did an amazing job. He got a bad rap. Because of him, we keep getting amazing exclusives that continue to improve year after year

check it out! Be warned though. The story is next to nothing. And your character is a generic Agent, with no background story and zero character development (as far as story goes).

So if you are looking for a story or cinematics with your gameplay, you may be disappointed

If you're looking for mindless fun, and crack-addition type orb collection & ability boosting -- then CD may be for you

Besides, if you get bored you can wreak hav...
