Bee and Raikage are cool
This game sounds promising!
Love, love, love the game...
I just wish S-E would remake the game to eliminate the Draw system.
Realistically, you don't have to draw spells to junction with stats, but who can resist? Really
I felt the Draw system ruins the flow of the battles and game, because my who team would suck enemies dry before moving on.
Great characters and story otherwise
Yeah, in mine the scientist kept dying until I sent him back with the crew
Then everyone survived. I couldn't deal with letting a member die. Was thinking too much about how it would affect the sequel.
For instance, I'm sure glad I kept Wrex alive in the first game. His dialog was great in the second game :)
Ever hear that saying "hair of the dog that bit you"?
For a hang-over, it means drink a bit more
Though, I'd just take some medicine, eat something "bread-y" as in not loose and greasy, and try to grab some sleep if you aren't having bed-spins (when you lay down and the room starts to spin)
DS is easy-ish depending how you play it
Melee is definitely harder than Mage or Ranged attacker with the proper equipment and stats
Then of course there's how patient and cautious you are. Run around trying to hack and slash will get you killed in under a minute if you aren't experienced with the game.
But yeah, the first time through (and maybe even the first new game +)is a bit of a rude awakening if you're used to easy hand-h...
FFVI
Amazing story, my personal favorite video game villain of all time in Kefka, large cast of characters each with their own story, and every character you controlled was unique including their fighting styles...
- Cyan had a risk vs reward charge system for his sword techniques
- Edgar had a chainsaw!
- Sabin did f'n Street Fighter move inputs
- Shadow had a ninja dog that Interceptor that, well, intercepted attacks from enemies...
Remember turbo dancing with that broom? XD
Love that old school sh!t
Beat Street
Krush Groove
Disorderlies with the Fat Boys
awwww yeah.... :)
You need your numbers to keep you sane every week? I got nothing
I'll take Baldur's Gate and those old-school AD&D games like "Pools of Radiance" and "Curse of the Azure Bonds"
Wii actually has a few C64 selections for it's Virtual Console. That's pretty cool
I'm not your guy, bro!
Try to fight them from a distance because they have a vomit attack that basically spits Acid at you breaking your equipment
This game's so good, I just started up a new Thief character
Right now with the Pure White World Tendency, the game is easier and you have a chance to get rare items, but it's really messing up the regular drops.
Those miners aren't dropping the spider stones I need
But this game is crack-addictive :)
That game is amazing and even plays well on the PSP
I already owned these, but with games the caliber of WipeoutHD and Syphon Filter among others being given for free - you have to appreciate what Plus is doing
"All the crying over a character skin shows just how immature the gaming public is, and why the majority of industries don't take gaming seriously."
You mean like how fans of the "superior" movie industry cried when Val Kilmer replaced Michael Keaton as Batman.
Then cried again when George Clooney replaced Kilmer as Batman
And creid when they put nipples on Batman's costume
Then cried some more say...
Well, at least he ain't happy Cole
Saaking was funny man
And while we're at it, can we get the Open Zone back though? Please?
A lot of those guys got left behind with the website change
Open Zone was funny when you needed a laugh
Sure there are numerous RPG's that you can list now, but Quantity does not equal Quality
And we haven't seen anything near the quality of a FFVI or FFX, Chrono Trigger, Suikoden, or Xenogears. Very few games this gen can compete with these gems either character or story-wise
And it seems that the top RPG's this gen are hybrids with heavy Shooter, Action, Adventure, and/or Strategy elements
Games like...

FFXIII story sucked with zero character development
And the villain was possibly the worst one yet.
But it's all opinion
I'm happy that FFXI is still going strong. I got into the FFXIV beta but my computer was not powerful enough to take advantage of it.
ah well.... Easy come, easy go
Reading the comments, it seems that there are a few people that genuinely think that the fans who complained about new Cole's appearance - before the change back to old Cole - are whining fanboys
Like the change didn't matter
If they changed Snake's look or Kratos' look without extreme justification (like in Old Snake's story-driven case), obviously that's going to tick a lot of people off
Heck, we sort of saw that wit...
What's up with this short post of yours?
This small word-count is an embarrassment to you and your N4G rep.
You're slipping man! Where's my Mastiffchild EPIC long posts?!
:)
