lol, the ps4 isn't even powerful enough for a VR device to perform at the capacity that an occulus rift would perform at. That means no 60 fps, and sub-1080p sacrifices to even get the thing to work with a PS4
well betas and alphas aren't supposed to be first impressions, they are meant to test the game. unfortunately in modern times alpha or beta have become synonymous with 'demo'

Well Dice has some of the best sound designers imo, so I'm guessing when a laser whizzes past your head, its gonna sound like a laser whizzed past your head. And I wonder if they are going to have the soldiers shouting profanity like they did in BF4. I wonder if the profanity will be star wars universe specific, now that would be cool

Well GTA 4 as it is now is a better experience on PC than it is on console, so I suppose yes in fact it will be awesome on PC
They only 'matter' when your platform has the upper hand. PS4 has 1080p and XBO has 720p? Resolution/graphics matter! PC has 4k, and PS4 has 1080p? Resolution/graphics no longer matter!

Games should not be 60 dollars on console and 60 dollars on PC. On console you are paying for that licensing fee to get the game on the console, where on PC there is none, yet we still get stuck paying an extra, unwarranted 10 dollars. Thats bull. Thats why when I see a 60 dollar full price game, I wait until its on sale and they actually ask a fair price

Thats why that part was genius. It was cliche as hell for the whole 'post apocalyptic dog friend', which is what every one of us was thinking as we threw that frisbee, and that got utterly flipped on its head when it bit us. And cats are better anyway

cuz...cuz the PS4 can barely handle 1080p and 60 fps for games that even look moderately good. The game in your avatar for example, will be running at 30 fps. You need hardware that is actually powerful to have a VR play at 60 fps and 1080p for both eye simultaneously, something that the PS4 could never really hope to do. If you do see VR on PS4, expect sub 720p, expect 30 fps. Nothing near what the occulus rift can do
