Stupid title. Steam is still quite better, although I am quite happy Origin is stepping their game up so that they could potentially be a big competitor for Steam, because in the end the consumers will benefit from this.
Wow, hardly into "next-gen" and consoles are already retarding the advancement of gaming. Way to go.
"Buttery smooth 30 fps" is the dumbest thing I have ever heard people on this site say
They should start their conference with a surprise announcement and mention how its the game everyone has been waiting for, then ricochet 2 pops up on screen and starts playing some footage. Right as the audience starts to boo, the video is halted and you hear 'Dr. Freeeemaaan'
Then it shows a full trailer for HL3, along with a release date
Even though they're both RPG's they're really completely different games with different gameplay and aesthetic, so I'm not going to say one is going to beat one down or not. Witcher 3 is going to be better at what it does and Project Beast will no doubt be better at what it does.
Yup. This pretty much blows every next gen console game graphically out of the water.
I hope it's a spiritual sequel and not a direct sequel to Spec Ops: The Line that deals with some of the undesirable and unseen aspects of war sorta like Spec Ops: The Line. Maybe it could address drone warfare or something.
It won't, don't worry about that. PS4 and XB1 probably couldn't handle it maxed out at 60fps 1080p. This will most likely be playing at medium settings.
Japanese culture is a lot different from western culture. They aren't as concerned about stuff like women's rights or gay rights, so I don't think its fair to expect them to include that stuff in their games. I think it should be included, but you can't really blame them for not doing it
Its always been the best option for gaming available, if you only want one platform. It should always be the base unit, off of which you expand into consoles if you desire. It offers the best value for your money, easily. Biggest library, cheapest games, best graphics, most freedom, unique exclusives (that are better than the bland console exclusives imo) that aren't the run of the mill AAA title from big dev XYZ. And its a PC too, so its more than just a gaming device. Its a tool. You ar...
"I simply wait for the devs to make a patch on their own time"
Exactly. We aren't as helpless as that. If this were console, we'd still be sitting with our thumbs up our bums waiting for Devs to put something out. Instead, we've got a guy who is more competent than the entirety of the PC porting team release a fix within days of release.
There are people who think the Division is going to look as good as the trailers on their console. All I gotta say is lol.
So...never? It will take years for this thing to be in a 'completed' state on the PC. I'd be amazed if they could even get it to run and look reasonably good on next gen hardware
Sell them a game at the end of a console generation, then sell it to them again shortly after. What an excellent way to sucker people out of $120
I don't think thats coop, it looks like some sort of orbiting friendly (like in the binding of isaac) that follows you around and is just another method of attack that you control
Oh boy, release a game right at the end of the console generation, then resell it to suckers only a couple years later. They got you people good.
The graphical updates they've done with the source engine is extremely impressive. However, their character design is quite ugly. Luckily, they include the ability to maintain the graphical updates, and exclude the character changes when installing the mod
Sony is going to mess it up. Hes talking about them when he mentions his fears for Occulus. They are going to kill VR by making a crappy product that can't run on the PS4 because its not powerful enough. Thanks for holding back gaming sony.
Heres a prediction. The PS4 isn't powerful enough to handle a good VR experience, Sony will completely drop the ball with this VR device and will leave a bad taste in peoples mouths for VR and preventing it from establishing a foothold in gaming, thus delaying progress in gaming a little bit more. Nice job Sony.
The only real VR device of any promise is the Occulus Rift, and whatever Valve is cooking up. Sony working on VR is a joke, because the hardware isn't strong ...
It takes up like 50 gigs...that is insanity. I hear most of it is due to the sound files or something. Whatever the case, they did a horrible job at managing its size
