@whoyouwit04: Says the guy who's made nearly 500 comments on N4G, in just over a year!
Or in denial.
Even a few o' my mates (who are DIEHARD Xbox fans) are having second thoughts!
The*greatest*GIF*ever*created!
'The move higher in Sony's stock Tuesday seemed to coincide with Microsoft's Xbox announcement that it will carry a Blu-ray drive. Dan Ernst of Hudson Square Research described the news as a "moral victory" for Sony but said that it wouldn't be the only recipient of royalty payments.'
Lol! For every Xbox One purchased, a small portion of the retail goes to Sony!
Combat piracy? No, it's about lining their pockets.
They could have built a more secure system to delay the inevitable cracking of the hardware by hackers. It took nearly 4 years for the PS3 to be hacked, so it's not impossible.
Actually, if anything this will piss off hackers & act as an encouragement to open it up & strip the used game blocker.
Now that's the straw that just broke the camels back.
What are they thinking?!? It's indefensible.
'The kicker is here is that if you want to play that game disc on your friend's Xbox One, a fee will be required...They would then have to purchase the right to play that game through Xbox Live."'
If I insert my used disks up into Bill Gates arse, will I have to pay a fee?
The Evil Within should be great.
And then there's Daylight( http://www.youtube.com/watc... which looks scary as hell and is running on UE4.
Routine despite being an indie title has lots of potential as well ( http://www.youtube.com/watc...

Another DDR3 confirmation from OXM.
DDR3 is quicker at performing lots of small operations, while GDDR5 is less nimble, but is incredibly quick at performing fewer large operations. GDDR5’s kind of speed will come in particularly handy when dealing with, for example, massive high-resolution textures. GDDR5 has much greater bandwidth.
PS4 has 1.84 TF GPU vs Xbox One 1.2 TF GPU
PS4 has 8GB GDDR5 RAM vs Xbox One 8GB DDR3 RAM
PS4 8-core CPU vs Xbox One 8-core CPU
PS4 USB 3.0 vs Xbox One 3.0 USB
PS4 Blu-Ray (x6) vs Xbox One Blu Ray (x?)
According to the specs, the PS4's GPU is more powerful. But as mentioned, the difference when it comes to performance, between DDR3 & DDR5 remains to be seen.
I find it odd that EA is flop-floping their console alliegences with each new console unveiling:
-First it was Wii U last year (which has fallen apart very publicly since)
-Then it was today with EA sports partnership with Xbox One.
-And more than likely Battlefield 4 will be shown at E3 on PS4. (Unlikely it would be shown alongside COD: Ghosts at Microsoft's conference)
All hail the brand new Microsoft DVR player...sorry Xbox One.
lol, more powerful than Highend PC's? Pass whatever your smoking.
Just curious; do MS have to pay Sony some royalties for using a Blu-Ray drive?
Because if so, then it's pretty hilarious!
The only semi-high point of a poor reveal. 90% of which was mugs in suits talking about TV features.
'Lets be honest here. The highest selling games on both of those systems are shooters'
And the Wii's best selling 'games' was Wii Sports & Wii Fit. 'Let's be honest here',
Nintendo fans ignored games like MadWorld & Red Steel 2 (270,000 sold) in favor of tat.
Yay
Resistance is passable. But COD is a joke...Burn in gaming hell Nihilistic!
Assassin's Creed: Rising Phoenix, is rumored to be the follow up to AC: Liberation on the Vita ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wik... And as of yet, it hasn't been revealed.
Ubisoft revealed that they had sold over 600,000 copies of Liberation back in Feb; it could be seen in their eyes as a major enough release.
Red Faction Guerrilla's destruction remained on the 360 & PS3. Quite an achievement on 512mb RAM ...RIP THQ
