Despite it being a blatant Nintendo Dogs ripoff; if it can help shift Vitas & show 3rd party dev's that theres a market for their games on the console, then it can only be a good thing.

They messed up by not taking the 3rd party devs seriously.
The Wii U didn't have to be as powerful as either the PS4 or X1, but it needed to have been somewhat comparable specswise to port over the big titles.
I actually like the Wii U, but it's still not worth committing to at that price tag.
Sony has a net worth (products, property assets & investments) of around 80 Billion US. They own several of Hollywood's largest studios such as Tristar & Columbia (responsible for the Spiderman franchise), not to mention their consumer electronics like the Bravia TVs & Xperia phones.
Nintendo on the other hand is worth closer to 15 Billion, based almost entirely on consoles.
