People always playing the race card...I'm from Ireland and some of the ludicrous portrayals & voice acting, in video games and film, would certainly cause uproar if they were different nationalities. But you take in good stead, at the end of the day it's harmless.

The character 'Irish' in Red Dead Redemption for example, every single negative stereotype rolled into one. If that equivalent character were African American, Mexican, Indian or Chinese, the PC ...

And here was me looking forward to mowing down yuppie hipsters from Brooklyn...I guess downtown bankers will be suffice, until the inevitable dlc drops!

Not saying that I totally agree with retrogamer sentiments...but imagine if Half Life 3 had an equivalent in any other form of media?

A commercially, critically acclaimed series that had a third installment confirmed for release sometime in the near future after a cliffhanger ending.

If George Lucas, after the release of The Empire Strikes Back, never so much as commented on The Return of the Jedi after announcing it...then spent the next ten years directing ...

I didn't realise that, the European Space Agency were interested in such matters

I'm not a fanboy by any stretch, (PS4 owner who has owned 360s, Gamecubes, Dreamcasts & N64s alongside my Playstations).

But this vague timed exclusive decision has alienated a loyal Tomb Raider fan such as myself, I've stuck with the series through the thick & thin (*cough*cough* Angel of Darkness). I've bought every title on launch, yes, even the long forgotten (and underrated) TR Chronicles, but this faux pas, is the straw that broke the camel's bac...

A racing game with PS All Star characters would be pretty awesome. Take the best elements of Mario Karting & Sony's own IP Wipeout, mesh it together and it could be great.

Don't just confine it to karting. But have snow events (ala SSX), boat racing (like Wave Race on the 64), bike combat (Road Rash)...ect ect, all with a Playstation spin

If Capcom bundled it with a Jill Sandwich, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

@Tinynuggins: By 'mobile' I assume you mean smartphones? And guess what is the best selling smartphone brand in Japan this year ...drumroll please....SONY Xperia Z series, topping even Apple.

So yeah...in a way your right, there is no competition.

Just curious, does anyone know if the emulation on X1 improves framerate or allows additional image filtering? I remember on the Vita, there was a emulation menu that let you tinker with bilinear filtering and such, for Psp games...

Would be great if a similar feature is incorperated to smoothen the look of the older 360 games

Someone should tell Bioware that 'self praise is no praise'.

Let the gamers decide, by showing actual gameplay, realtime running on actual hardware, at E3. I'm getting fed-up of touched up 'gameplay' demo that don't resemble the finished product...

Ditto...On a side note, a Bethesda game with a voiced protagonist should be interesting.

Rockstar is contractually obligated to develop a Sony exclusive as a result of a Take-Two buyout of Team Bondi's IP. Sony had invested money in the initial development of LA Noire and as per the terms of the buyout, a platform exclusive was part of the deal. Adorable tis not. Just plain ol' business.

Primarily US? This is an English language gaming news site not a US only site; plenty of British, Canadian, Irish, Australian, South African, New Zealanders on here, alongside users from continental Europe, India ect.

Some of the best gaming publications and sites are non-US; Eurogamer, Edge, NowGamer, VG247 ect ect. And ironically enough so is N4G, founded in Olso, Norway back in 2006.

Just a heads up lads, I've a Hong Kong account on my Irish PS4. Easy to set up an account, all the games are in English,it accepts Visa debit and most importantly it's way way cheaper. Once you download games, you can play them with your original PSN account.

PSN Plus for 12 months works out at around 25-30 euro, and the deals are great. Just bought Dragon Age Inquisition Deluxe edition for 21 quid, FIFA 15 was the same price.

'Consoles are to blame'?! Haha, good one.

GTA V cost $265 million to develop and market. GTA 5 (and GTA 4, for that matter) would not exist without the strength of sales on consoles.

Rockstar aren't freaking morons who are going to invest a quarter of a billion on a PC exclusive, whilst at the same time alienating the majority of their fanbase on consoles; hardcore and casual gamers alike.

I know that the likes of GTA & COD receive alot of blame from the media, in that regard. But Mario is a terrible influence; he is a turtle murdering sadist who stalks a princess, all while pillaging every piece of gold he can sniff-out. I'd blame it on the psychedelic 'shrooms...

'I spent much of last year on these adventures, venturing everywhere from Mordor and Sunset City, to Los Santos and a near-future Chicago, searching out every tiny detail. It sometimes could be exhausting. The overwhelming number of options in these games turned them into huge toy boxes that, in most cases, I knew I'd never actually finish. Just looking at the mini-map in Assassin's Creed: Unity made me tired.

The Order, on the other hand, is refreshingly linear. ...
