@Zanarkland
Oh right, there are a few unreleased versions of Resi games, like the Hookman one (is that 1.5?) and the one with Ghosts, etc.
This is what I think the Resi road map for the next few years should be:
2020 Resi 3 Remake (current gen)
2021 Resi Code Veronica & Outbreak Remakes (cross gen)
2022 Resi 8 (cross gen but vastly enhanced for bext gen, maybe 3rd person for current gen, but next gen gets choice or 1st & 3rd & VR options).
Code Veronica?
Xbox Series X is NOT compatible with every game in the back catalogue. It's only compatible with Xbox One and any game in the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility program. The only extra games it can play are the Series X next gen games. Why don't people understand this??
Except that Series X can only play the same BC games as Xbox One. It's selective through the BC program, not native.
Of course not; don't be so stupid.
You can fix that with a patch.
"ect" 🤦🏽♂️
More like:
Xbox
360
XB1, X1S, X1X
XSX
But what if Microsoft bought it.... 😬
I doubt it. As I've said previously, the PS4 Pro released due to 4K screens; I reckon there wouldn't have been a mid-cycle upgrade without a big change in tech. What else would the Pro or the X have been sold/marketed on if not 4K? You couldn't justify the tech enhancement if it was just a slightly smoother frame rate.
PS5 already has 8K compatibilty, so what would be the big sell for a PS5 Pro?
The only thing I can think of would be PS3 comp...
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
I got a PS1 with my first student loan cheque in September 1997 (having previously had a Commodore plus/4, a Commodore 64C, Sega Megadrive, Sega 32X). It was a big step for me, stepping away from Sega and choosing to NOT get a Saturn.
Although I've had plenty of other consoles since the PS1 (GameCube, Wii, Xbox/360/One), my heart belongs to PlayStation.
I've been to the midnight launch of PS2, PS3, PS4, and I fully intend on being amongst the fir...
That's a very hefty exclusion you put in at the start of your argument.
Tried GamePass for a £1 trial when Crackdown 3 came out. I found it fairly disappointing tbh (both XGP and C3).
How much is it for Xbox?
More than I expected tbh.
The reason I'm against Stadia is mainly down to the precedent and direction that it sets. I don't want the industry to move to a streaming only model. I want to own my games forever without a subscription.
I want to be free to turn off my internet and still play.
I don't want any company taking away a game that I love because the licencing has run out.
I'll always choose physical over digital, but I'd have digital ...
@Shikoku
You have no idea what tech is inside the PS5 nor the new pad, so there is now way you can say that with any ounce of certainty. You're thinking of the PS4 tech. Do you really think Sony would force new PS5 owners to buy PS4 pads to work with the VR games? Of course not.
At this time, MS is still just talk. Until they have games in people's hands it doesn't count. Faith all used up, need to prove themselves.
