2 mobile variants and a cancelled sequel do not a franchise make.

Just so you know:
95% + 0.5% = 95.5% (not 100% as per your maths)
Agreed
Knowing EA, they'll make you buy the Mass Effect remasters individually at full price rather than as a trilogy compilation.
It already has an equivalent; it's called PS Now. It has 800+ titles available across multiple generations. You can download the PS4 and PS2 titles, whereas the PS3 titles are streamed.
It doesn't have 1st party titles added on day 1 like XGP does, but that's because Sony exclusives are of a far higher calibre which sell in their own right and would sacrifice quality if used as PS Now filler.
They were kinda forced into it by the success of PS+ and the Instant Game Collection on PS3.
Nobody cares.
Anyone can download the app. How many of those apps have actually turned into purchases or subscriptions??

Horizon & Spider-Man added Ultra Hard difficulty trophies in New Game+ patch trophies.
Each developer/publisher decides on their own trophy requirements. Third party lists are usually the same across all platforms.
Currently working on my 91st platinum. I get a kick out of it. It makes me play a game to its full potential rather than rushing through it; it also pushes me harder as a gamer. The grinding trophies can be a pain, and often make me lose interest into a game and move on. I'm not obsessed; I just enjoy the extra layer that trophies bring

Superbly done, Sony. Kudos. 4 great games too! Genuine no strings FREE.
Wait for E3, right?
I've got 90 platinum trophies on PlayStation and an Xbox gamerscore of over 105k. I have an Xbox One S and a PS4 Slim; would you call me a "casual"? You don't need the 4K variants of current consoles to be considered non-casual or a hardcore gamer.
I've been on a bit of a PS3 bender recently. My latest platinums/100% games have been:
InFamous
InFamous 2
InFamous: Festival of Blood
Tomb Raider: Legend
And now I'm working through Tomb Raider: Underworld.
Older games are as much fun to play now as they were then. Sure, sometimes the controls might take a bit of acclimatisation, but good games remain good games. As the older consoles start to die away and fail, we need ...
Outbreak 1&2
There will be zero 1st party exclusives on Xbox that won't be on PC as well.
This is really no different to Amazon continuing business. Don't be a hypocrite by criticising CEX and then ordering the latest game or movie from Amazon.
I interpreted the headline quite differently until I saw the article.
