Not surprising really; RPGs tend to not sell well on Xbox.
Deeamcast was "the 1st console to continue the story". Shenmue 1&2 debuted on Dreamcast; Xbox merely got a port of the 2nd game and had NOTHING to do with any story continuation.
Witcher 3 was already HD. Stop using outdated monikers; they should call it the 4K Project instead.

My dream list:
Insomniac
BluePoint Games
Quantic Dream (get them back!)
COD4 Remaster dropped the numerical to become 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered' - and now this new game is called 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare'...
That is unbelievably dumb.
Why not call it MW4?
The devs and ESRB/PEGI. No-one else should have a say.
This article lists:
Uncharted 5, Gran Turismo 7, Horizon: Zero Dawn 2, God of War 2, Spider-Man 2, The Last of Us 3, Days Gone 2, Bloodborne 2, Killzone 5, Bully 2, GTA6, Red Dead 3, Persona 6, Mass Effect 5, Witcher 4.
Literally just a list of all the biggest hitting AAA titles and PS4 Exclusives, then simply upping the last numeral. Such a lazy list. Where are the older titles returning to glory? The forgotten treasures? It's like this list was written by a ...
It's a catchier buzzword that can be marketed easier. Simple really, I don't get why that's hard to fathom.
Here are MY dream features of the PS5 (without getting too silly):
1. Full native backwards compatibility.
All disc and digital games from all previous generations of PlayStation play natively without the need for special agreements or patches. It's already been confirmed that PS4 games will work, but let's gave PS1, PS2, PS3, and heck throw in PSP and Vita compatibility too.
2. All PS4 accessories work with PS5.
PSVR has alread...
Remasters will be via patches akin to the X1X. This is fine. Remakes (like SOTC or Ratchet & Clank) will still be done as new releases. This is all fine. It's as it should be.
I traded my 32X into CEX last year with 16 games. Totalled over £800 credit when I was done. Knuckles Chaotix alone was £140!
Yeah, when games were 32Mb or less. You could literally fit the entire Megadrive and SNES catalogues on one blu-ray.
No, you got those disagrees because you said "MP has always been more popular than SP". That just isn't true.
Play your backlog upscaled. Win win.
Jak 3 physical release? Just #3? Weird.
@agnosticgamer
It matters if you're trying to make a point and you falsely inflate one service and take away from the other. It presents a skewed and incorrect argument.
I'll just wait for PS5 and play all my old PS3 games on that, thanks....... (hopefully)...
MS does not offer an additional service in Game Pass. It segregates it.
PS Now offers game streaming AND downloads.
Xbox offers Game Pass for downloads and xCloud for streaming.
Not much difference (although the PS3 games aren't downloadable as they aren't compatible with PS4 tech).
Whilst I agree with the sentiment, the article missed the most important reason (in my opinion). The article only discusses locking a user into an ecosystem, but I'd say b/c is far more relevant in this upcoming generation because it might be the final physical generation (although I hope it isn't).
IF this is the last physical generation, then it needs to preserve the legacy of all games playable on that brand. The final box that plays all the discs. The perfect g...
