Even I'm bored by the "Is Sony in trouble?" articles. Wake me up when Sony abandons hardware or the PS4 is announced - whichever is first.
It's not "old news". THe game may be...
It's going to rock PC gaming in the fall. No, really. It's awesome.
Actually, those votes have been there forever, before Metacritic changed policy.
Link's broken.
Or just get Cartman's mom.
"Mom! More Hot Pockets!"
"Mom! Bathroom! BATHROOM!!!"
Why would you play TWO subscription-based superhero MMOs?
PC all the way for me.
There's a reason Howard Stringer wants Sony to be more about the software than the hardware.
"You review the game and find it to be an okay game, worthy of a 8 or maybe a 9. How easy would it be to just nudge that score to a 7 to generate hits so you can sell more ad space and make more money?"
So you anger the publisher, who stonewalls you and doesn't give you perks? Um, right. Whose ad space will you be selling to? Joe's Hardware?
Let me ask you a question.
Suppose you're given a major release by a publisher, who says they're going to allow you to post the review pre-release, give you major hittage.
You review the game and find it to be an okay game, worthy of a 7 or 8. How easy would it be to just nudge that score to a 9 to please the publisher, so they'll buy more ad space and give you more hot releases to publish reviews early for?
It already happens in the movie and book indus...
I meant to write "TVG", not "IGN" when I posted the article. I didn't discover the error til I returned from Comic Con.

I just know I'm going to regret posting this on N4G.
They said they preferred working with their own system - freed them up a lot more to expand, no longer constrained by AD&D or the Star Wars d20.
Timmy IS the Lord of the Underworld. :p
Has nothing to do with console release.
1. Game still needs work
2. EA knows this game is GOTY. I get the impression they want to release it late in the year so it's fresh in voter's minds.
Oh, and Battlefield 1943 is all kinds of awesome too.
I played it today at Comic Con, and you cannot believe how addictive it is. It looks awesome even though it's pre-alpha, and it's only 350MB (and they plan to compress it more.)

Dead Rising came out on PC in Japan, and you seem to forget that Dead Rising is coming to the Wii. It was never intended as an exclusive title.
