It's interesting how people are trying to "Lame" this out of existence, when the original article was passed easily.
In addition, the poll started with Killzone 2 having an 80% lead after the first few days thanks to N4G posters - and then received almost no support afterward. If the poll had never been announced on N4G, Killzone 2 would have had roughly 4% of the vote.
Essentially, the article is "lame" because you don't like the poll results...
Blame the import tax, not EA.
It's officially "Madden NFL 10".
Stop hatin'.
Oh, wait, you're TheHater. :p
Um, er, yeah, sure.
GOD, NO!
If I wanted an immutable story which I couldn't change because the author wants it only one way, I'll read a book or watch a movie.
JPRGs aren't real roleplaying games - you're just playing someone else's story. You can't change the story one whit.
Deus Ex, now that was a true RPG that had real meaningful endings.
Does it come with the same impossible Achievements as the Xbox 360 version?
I hate to be the one to bring it up, but Killzone 2 doesn't look better than Unreal Tournament III or Gears of War 2, much less any given PC shooter.
I'd like it - make Burnout Paradise more into Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit.
I may check it out, though I'm burned out on RTS.
This post is classified as "Desperate Troll Bait".
I'm going to write an article: "Killzone 2 Goes Gold... But Do You Care?"
I can't wait for Civilization IV for Linux!
Sony is working harder for a reason - it put itself in a deep hole.
There's an old saying:
Work SMARTER, not harder.
He complains that he was able to trade player with a No Trade Clause - um, duh, you can trade players with NTC's - it's just that they have to agree to waive the clause.
1. The century is 9 years old.
2. GTA4 does not have better writing than any of the Infocom games, or Grim Fandango, etc. If anything, GTA4 is kind of trite.
The reason is that there will be no backwards compat update is that Sony's backwards compat was completely hardware - basically, they stuck a PS2 (the Emotion chip) into the PS3.
"While Sony's revenues increased this year, Microsoft's share ended up decreasing in value likely due to decreased Xbox 360 hardware prices."
That is what is known as a baldfaced lie.
1. Sony's 1.68 billion dollars operating losses. That's billion with a "b".
2. Microsoft's Xbox division made a profit.
3. Windows 7 is getting rave reports from beta testers - that'll be a financial windfall for Microsoft. On the other hand...
My favorite part is where Jack007 approved the first part:

But not this one.
