If Nintendo actually, you know, showed off third party titles like Microsoft does (ie. Final Fantasy XIII, Tekken 6, GTA4), they'd excite people. But they ONLY show off first party titles, and games like Conduit, etc, will get the short shrift.
yes, but the Wii isn't targetted at the PS3 audience. The audience the Wii is targetted at is the budget consumer. And $250 is too much for something that's freely available now.
Books aren't optical media. They don't get damaged if you put your finger on the cover. And any books with a damaged cover, or torn page will always result in a discount for the buyer.
Anyway, the point is this: if GameStop never sold used games, this would be a non-issue. If someone has a bad disc, they can replace it with GameStop. The issue is that GameStop sells used games.
"Glad PS2 & 3 games come in sealed packaging,"
Um, yeah,...
I still love my 1995 MicroProse version.
I'm excited.
Improved gamepad vibration for Rez HD! WOOOO!
Um, you can't compare. You're paying for PHYSICAL PIECES for the board games. You're paying for the manufacturing costs of pieces, boards, and cards. Physical objects.
Let's look at a more direct comparison:
PS2 version: $19.99
Wii version: $36.99
THE XBOX LIVE ARCADE VERSION DOESN'T EVEN HAVE A BOX OR DISC TO PRESS.
No, they're just $10 "downloadable" content.
Also, Scrabble has no Vs. CPU option. WTF?

It doesn't matter - the PS3 can't catch up to the Xbox 360 in units sold, not even in 10 years.
When you're in third place and have to do a price drop, you're in serious trouble.
And by the way, Derrick Schommer's experienced in online computer and video game retail. He knows how things operate.
Other price drops have been learned this way - ie. the Xbox 360 price drop was leaked (and proved true) this way. Retailers HAVE to know when a console has a price drop in advance.
Personally, it doesn't matter to me. Buying a single game for me these days is a major purchase. Thank God for GameFly.
I went to the site, but their super-intrusive ads made me close the screen, especially since they completely blocked the article.
INSTANT FAIL.
Did you also throw your software library out the window, too? How many launch titles does a console have (and there's always utter crap at launch save one or two games).
No, we just have people voting "Yes" or "No", and hundreds answered. Very simple.
Sounds interesting.
Next film: "Why Johnny Can't Blast a Zombie With a 12 Gauge Shotgun".
They've done a few gaming videos.
How can an editorial be a "duplicate story"?
And flame bait? Jordan uses stats and impartial analysis.
Fanboys = death.
