I am looking forward to this feature. This is going to be a huge selling point to me as I bought the majority of my games digitally this gen. If those dont transfer to PS5 then that's wasted money unless I keep my PS4 next to the PS5 but that's kinda counter productive to a degree. Hopefully Sony can get this going. They did it with PS2 and PS3, they should be able to do it here as well...
Doubtful, Playstation makes more money for Sony than anything else they own. Worst case scenario, everything becomes closer and closer to PC and Playstation becomes Sonys pre-made PC brand. To a point, we're kind of already at that point so I doubt anything will change. The services the platforms offer will change though and in my opinion, that's where the real argument is.

Honestly I have shit all over this game and it's only because I want it to be good, I really do. I want this to be the best game ever made. That said, it looks boring as fuck. I know Kojima is a storytelling genius, but I'm worried he may be in over his head this time. As much as I hate to say it, no one wants to hear it, and I'm going to get ALOT of hate for it, I worry Kojima needed Konami to keep him reigned in. To keep him tethered to sanity. I am excited to see how this games...

They're doing this trying to emulate the Wiis success. The Wii didnt have nearly enough units out on launch cuz Nintendo didnt think it would blow up like it did. The difference with the Wii was that everyone wanted one.
