I'm pretty sure the whole point of this add on is Sony testing the market to see if there is an actual demand for more buttons. I think there is and I'll be buying this day one. There are other products out there that are pretty similar and I'm pretty sure you can get $200 Scuf controllers that have this but I'm not spending that lol.
I like you guys. This is the most underrated franchise of all time in my opinion. I'd love another entry.
Almost always the case is to sell the console at a loss and make your fortune in software sales. That's why exclusive games are so important to Sony and Nintendo etc. They give the ability for them to push an affordable console into everyone's home and then bury the consumer in a mountain of games that keep them coming back.

I'd be happy with an inFamous Remaster as well. The first two games on PS3 were amazing and gorgeous but left much to be desired. Imagine how amazing they would look now in 4K and improved particles.
I'm hoping Carlos gets his own scenario akin to the way Resi 2 does Leon's campaign and then Claire's. I'd love the game to be a little longer as well...
I dont want to pay $200 for a controller just because it has a few cool features of which I'll only realistically mainly use one. I want back paddles and $30 is way more approachable than $200! I think Sony has the same viewpoint and its probably an experiment as well to see how much demand there really is for back paddles. I'm buying this day one!

I'm sure we will see 60 fps be the standard and the push for 120 fps to be more common from now on seeing how the Series X is supposedly 4X more powerful than the One X and that system is already a beast that is only held back by the OG Xbox One's CPU.
I agree that 8K will most likely not be a reality. At best we will get something like checkerboarding that basically just simulates a higher resolution.
