No "Surprise Mechanics"!
I could be wrong but I feel like almost every Final Fantasy after 7 felt rushed. I mean with all those games the early game is really fleshed out. It's when you get somewhere between the middle and endgame that everything is a train wreck. By that point the story gets super convoluted and doesnt make sense. I know they like to make the franchise very detail oriented and I'm guessing they end up having to rush the end of the game to make up for spending so much time on the early parts....
219 upvotes, only 10 downvotes and my opinion gets flagged as "inappropriate." Google in charge of n4g? So much censorship now...
That's a relief. I thought they were just recycling all the old levels again
If unimaginative sequels and DLC are your thing...
I can only wonder who downvoted me lol
They want to get crazy detailed and get super into each character's lore. I think they've lost their minds. If its anymore than 3 episodes and doesnt finish by 2025, then people wont care anymore. As is, I dont know if I have time for 60 hours in Midgar... the whole game, maybe, but not 60+ hours for God only knows how many episodes. People will lose interest with this long of a development time for each game as well.
Get ready for the final episode 7 in 2103!!!
You're a smart person. Stalin loved "useful idiots" too.
All the characters look like they were made in Fallout 4's character creator...
Get ready for season pass frenzy!!!
Good question, although I suppose only time will tell. They could have done the same thing the developers did for the Spyro remaster. Those games original source code was also lost but they invented a new way to get it back essentially.
I'm really hoping iplay1up2 is just being sarcastic...
The plot is fucked but entertaining and it's very much like Inception in some ways.
FF8 made leveling pointless as enemies leveled with you. They actually added abilities to stop you from leveling up and in staying lower leveled made the game way easier. You could still junction high magic to stats and fight low level enemies. That was the whole point in farming for exp in other FF games, so you could get the upper hand on enemies. I'm saying with the new ability to basically run a "God Mode" you wont have to worry about leveling or not and just enjoy the story...
Stoked for this with all the bonus cheats. Hopefully it'll make the weird leveling system more enjoyable.
Talk about reaching! Clickbait! I could see if it was a little more specific but seeing how everyone thought crypto was going to get them to an early retirement but then it tanked really bad around the time this DLC was in development. That event made people rethink their early retirement and everyone had to keep going to work. This mission is a commentary on that crypto tanking. That's it.
