Played all 3 on various consoles, etc. Not ONCE did I say to myself "Wow this game is so fun, but it could be even better if they did something about those downgraded arms". In over 40 years of gaming, I don't think I've ever even noticed whether an "arm" was good or bad. This is actually a real article??
You can't, and it's probably for your own safety or something.
@Pickledpepper You need to remember a lot of people at this site have major schadenfreude syndrome.
Game Pass!
@mandf best comment of the day.
It was because they were proprietary and expensive. To this day, They are STILL way more expensive than Micro-SD cards. I have a Vita, and the card situation was a joke from the beginning. I was stunned they never lowered the price on them.
Sony had a great idea when they tested sending out complete PSVR bundles to a limited number of people. You were able to try it in home, no risk for 30 days (I think it was 30 days). After that you could keep it and pay (I recall it being discounted), or send it back with the prepaid label. I wasn't sold, so it was perfect for people like me who hadn't actually tried it. However they made a huge mistake in my opinion. Even though the 2nd gen headsets were widely available, they sent o...
I'm not interested in a flame war over what system is better, etc. I own all three systems, and cross play/progression are great. My daughter plays Fortnite on her switch, and I can play against her on my PS4. I realized how much I missed it when I wanted to play Apex Legends with her and couldn't. I would think multi-console homes are more popular than you might think. I would also rather have 1 Xbox and 1 PS4 as opposed to have 2 of the same console just so I can play online games w...
Not sure, but it's the first game with a real shot as long as EA follows the Epic playbook and doesn't get "too aggressive" if you know what I mean.
Hubris has bitten all three companies in a major way at least once. As gamers we should hope that they have all learned from their past blunders. Usually it means the gamers win. Lets face it, companies rarely do much to improve unless faced with competition. Look at the DS for example. No real competition, so they just kept releasing the same system in a different shape for a decade. The benefits of having all three companies healthy far out-weigh the negatives. Far more than having one domi...
Wow. This was 100% sarcasm based on on all of the heat MS takes when they buy a studio. Tough crowd.
Stop buying other companies and develop your own tech. Sony is just trying to buy their way to success.
Nope. The law is very clear. Can't copyright a dance move.
"Playground winning an award was kinda forced...."
In what way? Was there a better racing/sports games this year?
he actually says he's NOT writing off the whole platform. He said he's going to keep playing exclusives on his PS4, but any multiplat games he will purchase on one of the other 3 platforms.
I saw that on Amazon, and it says it only works on certain firmware, no?
You do realize that almost all of Sony's studios where purchased at some point, don't you? Naughty Dog, Sucker Punch, Guerrilla, the list goes on and on. All "acquired" at one point. But those are different how?
You do realize that almost every Sony 1st party studio was purchased at some point, don't you?
I have one, and to be honest, I'm stunned that they STILL charge an arm and a leg for the memory cards. After all this time, and the push-back,etc. I would have thought that at least as a last ditch effort, they would've allowed 3rd parties to make these. I mean, over $90 for 64GB is just insane, and IMO was a MAJOR hindrance to the system.
Is there still cross progression? Or is it back to buying multiple season passes....... The real bummer for me is that this was a great way to game with my kids. Oh how I long for the days of split screen....
